The preferred form of construction, as illustrated in the drawings comprises a main side piece 6 having a cover flap 7 arranged at one end and foldable thereon, said cover flap 7 being provided With a securing flap 8 adapted to be inserted in the end of the receptacle to lock all parts in closed position, as indicated in Fig. 1. Main side piece 6 is provided at one edge With a securing Hap 9 which is inserted in a side of the receptacle under cover flap 7 to secure this part of the receptacle against opening. At the other side of main side piece 6 is arranged a flap 10 and a iap 11 is arranged at the free edge of flap 10. Flaps 12 and 13 are arranged at the ends of flaps 10 and 11, as shown in Fig. 5, said flaps 12 and 13 being provided with slits and openings 1dand 15 and glued lines 16, as indicated. lines 16, form a series of pockets on the faces of flaps 10 and 11 for the reception of hairpins or similar small articles.
ln use,k the articles are inserted in the pockets formed off slits and openings 14; and
15, then flap 11 is folded on top of flap 1() 'my invention into effect, this is capable of variation and modification without departing from the spirit of the invention. I, therefore, do not Wish to be limited to the precise details of construction set forth, but desire to avail myself of such variations and modifications as come Within the scope of the appended claims.
Having described my invention what I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent is:
1. A folding receptacle formed from a single blank and comprising a main receptacle side; a cover side at the end of said main side and foldable thereon; a securing flap at the free edge of said cover side; a side flap at one side of said main side and foldable thereon in a direction substantially at right angles to the direction of fold of said cover side; a second side flap on the freeV edge of said first mentioned side flap and foldable thereon; and a securing flap at the other side of said main side, substantially as described.
2. A folding receptacle formed from a single blank and comprising a main receptacle side; a cover side at the end of said main side and foldable thereon; a securing fla-p at the free edge of said cover side; a side flap at one side of said main side and foldable thereon in a direction substantially at right angles to the direction of fold of said cover side; a second side flap on the frecedge of said first mentioned side flap and foldable thereon; retaining pockets on the inner faces of said side flaps; and a securing iap at the other side of said main side, substantially as described.
3. A. folding receptacle formed from a single blank and comprising a main receptacle side; a cover side at the end of ,said
main side and foldehle thereon; a securing 'Hap at JEhe end of said cover side; a side flap at one side of said main side and foldable thereon in a direction substantially at right angles to Jshe direction of fold of said Cover side; a second side flap on the free edgeV of said first mentioned side flap and oldable thereon; flaps et the-ends of said Side flaps corresponding to said cover side and folded onto said side linps, there being :L plurality of openings in seid folded flaps and said folded llaps being secured to said side flaps adjecentndjoining sides oi seid openings o forni pockets; and :i securing flap at the other side of said main side, suhstantially as described.
