The caster comprises a forked caster memswivel 22 to yan adjusting member 23, the pin or swivel 22 being of sufficient length :to permit of the 'insertion of' antiiriction balls 24 between the supporting member and the caster member. The supporting member is provided with external screw threads 25, `designed to mesh with corresponding threads `26` upon the interior of a tubular casing 27, and located near the upper open end of 4said casing. The supporting member' is provided with an annular flange 28 provided with notches 29 which are shaped to be engaged by the locling pin 18. The
