Abstract

The present invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used as a source of direct current, which is powered by a three-phase network and has small waveform distortions of input current. A single-pulse power supply with direct conversion contains an input LC-filter, semiconductor switches, a high frequency transformer and a rectifier with a smoothing choke, and a control unit connected to the control electrodes of switches. The single-pulse power supply has high weight and size performance due to high-frequency conversion. In addition, the disclosed circuit design allows to reduce harmonic distortion factor of input current and to obtain input power factor close to unity. Use of the disclosed single-pulse power supply unit with direct conversion will enhance the quality of supply voltage, reduce energy loss due to high efficiency and improve the quality characteristics of processes, for supply of which it is used.
