Abstract
本發明是關於導電性組成物,更詳而言之,是關於包含金屬前驅物及銅粉末,提高燒結時所形成之電極之密度、改善表面粗糙度,可實現優異之導電度、與基板之接著力及印刷性之微細圖案印刷用導電性銅墨水或膏組成物。
Description
本發明是關於導電性組成物,更詳而言之,是關於包含金屬前驅物及銅粉末,可提高燒結時所形成之金屬圖案之密度,改善表面粗糙度,實現優異之導電度、與基板之接著力及印刷性之微細圖案形成用導電性銅墨水或膏組成物。
最近,伴隨電子零件之小型化及適用於各種基板之趨勢,對經由各種印刷方式於薄膜上形成微細配線之需求增加,針對優異之表面粗糙度及低價化之研究熱烈進行中。尤其是於多層薄膜構造中,存在有因表面粗糙度不良而產生工序上之短路問題、因可靠性降低而導致與基板之接著力問題及顯示器之畫質不良等問題,故用以提高印刷精密度及表面粗糙度、使價格下降之研究熱烈進行中。
近來,如此印刷用導電性墨水或膏一般使用銀(Ag)粒子。以銀構成之組成物由於容易製造、穩定性優異,故有即使印刷後亦穩定之優點,因此被廣泛應用,但由於價格會變動且較高,故為取代銀,對含有銅(Cu)之墨水或
膏之興趣正在提高。
因此,大韓民國專利公開第2010-0118219號揭示
一種顯示面板用可撓性基板,特別說明為用作液晶顯示元件用基板,必須開發最重要的是熱膨脹係數及膜表面之粗糙度(Surface Roughness)較低之塑膠光學膜材料,若基板之表面粗糙度並非平坦且非常粗,則會導致顯示器裝置之畫質不良等,因此表面粗糙度為重要。
又,若金屬膏之表面粗糙度及分散性不佳,則會
形成凝聚體,藉此產生短路(short)、可靠性降低、且電極厚度不均,故難以將內部電極薄層化。由此,為解決前述問題,大韓民國專利公開第2005-0104042號已揭示一種內部電極用高分散金屬膏製造方法,該內部電極用高分散金屬膏是配合最近電子機器產業之變化,使用於製造高電容積層陶瓷電容器(MLCC),且具有優異之表面粗糙度,但只不過是製造金屬粉末以高黏度分散、陶瓷粉末另外以低黏度分散後,使用三滾筒研磨機(roll mill)均等地分散之膏。
因此,要求開發出一種焙燒時使電極密度最佳化,經由導電性組成物之分散最佳化將銅薄膜選擇性地印刷於基板之僅期望之部分,可實現改善表面粗糙度之導電性組成物(墨水或膏)。
為解決前述之問題,本發明之目的是提供一種導
電性組成物及由前述導電性組成物形成之金屬微細圖案,該導電性組成物是藉由混合金屬前驅物及銅粒子而於銅粒子之間導入金屬前驅物,提高燒結時形成之電極之密度,改善表面粗糙度,易於確保高傳導度、形成厚膜及可靠性。
為達成前述目的,本發明提供一種導電性組成物,其特徵在於包含:a)銅(Cu)粉末30至70重量%;b)金屬前驅物10至20重量%;c)黏合劑樹脂1至20重量%;及d)剩餘量之溶劑。
又,本發明提供一種金屬微細圖案形成方法,其特徵在於:將前述導電性組成物印刷於基板上,進行熱處理。
又,本發明提供一種金屬微細圖案,其藉由前述金屬微細圖案形成方法而製造。
本發明之導電性組成物是將銅粒子與金屬前驅物混合而於銅粒子之間導入金屬前驅物,藉此提高燒結時形成之電極之密度,改善表面粗糙度,顯示高傳導度、易形成厚膜、及改善基板接著力等優異性能。
因此,根據本發明之導電性組成物可有用於形成結晶質太陽能電池用電極、薄膜太陽能電池用電極、染料敏化太陽能電池用電極、觸控面板用電極、RFID天線或多
層電容器之電路之微細圖案。
圖1至圖7是用於觀察實施例1至2及比較例1至5之銅墨水組成物之表面之原子顯微鏡(Atomic Force Mciroscope、AFM)照片。
圖8是顯示使用實施例1之銅墨水組成物之印刷圖案之照片。
圖9至12是用以觀察實施例3、比較例7至9之銅膏組成物之表面之原子顯微鏡照片。
圖13及14是分別顯示使用實施例3及比較例7之銅膏組成物之印刷圖案及剝離強度之照片。
本發明之導電性組成物,其特徵在於包含:a)銅(Cu)粉末30至70重量%;b)金屬前驅物10至20重量%;c)黏合劑樹脂1至20重量%;及d)剩餘量之溶劑。
以下就各成分進行說明。
a)銅粉末
可於本發明中使用之導電性銅粉末,可使用電極形成用墨水或膏所使用之銅粉末,較佳為銅粉末表面已塗覆有機物之銅奈米粒子,更佳為於粒子表面吸附或殘留有胺之銅奈米粒子。
前述銅粒子之平均粒子為40至1,000nm,較佳為
100至500nm,如此之銅奈米粒子可調節胺之種類而控制粒子之大小,具有鹼度上升且抑制銅之氧化膜之優點。
前述銅奈米粒子可以使用有機胺將銅錯合物於
製造後還原之方法而製造。較好的是,所合成之銅之表面之胺量可吸附於整體銅粒子之0.5至10重量%左右,更好的是,可以2至5重量%吸附。前述吸附之胺具有抑制氧化且使分散力增加之效果。吸附之胺之分析可經由TGA(熱重分析儀)進行分析。
藉由此種方法所生成之銅粒子,大部分形成1μm
以下之粒子大小,具有球狀之形態。一般而言,若能於奈米粒子殘留鹼性較大之胺,則zeta電位增加且分散力增加,故易於分散於各種溶劑,因此沒有必要添加分散穩定劑作為添加劑。又,粒子大小越小,殘留之胺量相對地增加,且zeta電位進一步上升、分散力變優異,有利於印刷步驟。
於本發明中,前述導電性銅粉末含有30至70重量
%,添加未達30重量%時,導電性銅粉末之接觸密度變小且於印刷後無法實現期望之線電阻或面電阻,膏之黏度變小,從而印刷性能明顯降低,若前述含量超過70重量%,則有導電性銅粉末難以均勻分散,因限度以上之黏度而導致印刷性能降低之缺點。
b)金屬前驅物
本發明中,為改善電極密度及表面粗糙度而包含金屬前驅物。
前述金屬前驅物只要為用於形成電極之金屬前
驅物即可,並無特別限定,作為一例,前述金屬前驅物可使用銀(Ag)、銅、鎳或包含其等之合金等。前述金屬前驅物只要為以溶液或結晶之形態包含於本發明之導電性組成物,較佳為可於350℃以下之熱處理溫度進行熱處理時被分解而顯示電阻之金屬前驅物即可,尤其是可使用含碳數6至18之脂肪酸而合成之金屬前驅物。
作為具體例,前述金屬前驅物可使用選自由以下所組成之群中之一種以上者,即:己酸銅(Cu-hexanoate)、庚酸銅(Cu-heptanoate)、辛酸銅(Cu-octanoate)、壬酸銅(Cu-nonanoate)、癸酸銅(Cu-decanoate)、新癸酸銅(Cu-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸銅(Cu-stearate)、異硬脂酸銅(Cu-isostearate)、油酸銅(Cu-oleate)、蓖麻酸銅(Cu-ricinoleate)等銅脂肪酸前驅物;己酸銀(Ag-hexanoate)、庚酸銀(Ag-heptanoate)、辛酸銀(Ag-octanoate)、壬酸銀(Ag-nonanoate)、癸酸銀(Ag-decanoate)、新癸酸銀(Ag-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸銀(Ag-stearate)、異硬脂酸銀(Ag-isostearate)、油酸銀(Ag-oleate)、蓖麻酸銀(Ag-ricinoleate)等銀脂肪酸前驅物;己酸鎳(Ni-hexanoate)、庚酸鎳(Ni-heptanoate)、辛酸鎳(Ni-octanoate)、壬酸鎳(Ni-nonanoate)、癸酸鎳(Ni-decanoate)、新癸酸鎳(Ni-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸鎳(Ni-stearate)、異硬脂酸鎳(Ni-isostearate)、油酸鎳(Ni-oleate)、蓖麻酸鎳(Ni-ricinoleate)等鎳脂肪酸前驅物;
氰化銅(Cu(CN)2)、草酸銅(Cu(COO)2)、乙酸銅(CH3COOCu)、碳酸銅(CuCO3)、氯化銅(CuCl2)、氯化亞銅(CuCl)、硫酸銅(CuSO4)、硝酸銅(Cu(NO3)2)、硝酸銀(AgNO3)、過氧化銀(Ag2O)、氧化銀(AgO)、氯化銀(AgCl)、硫酸銀(Ag2SO4)、硝酸鎳(Ni(NO3)2)、氯化鎳(NiCl2)、硫酸鎳(NiSO4)等鹽形態之前驅物。
本發明中,前述金屬前驅物包含10至20重量%,
添加未達10重量%時由於難以使電極密度提高,故改善粗糙度之效果降低,若超過20重量%地過量放入時,則有導電度反倒降低之缺點。
c)黏合劑樹脂
作為本發明中可使用之黏合劑樹脂,可使用通常可使用於印刷用墨水或膏組成物中之黏合劑樹脂。作為具體例可使用將甲基纖維素、乙基纖維素、羥丙基纖維素、羥丙基甲基纖維素、乙酸丁酸纖維素、羧甲基纖維素及羥乙基纖維素等纖維素(Cellulose)系樹脂、聚胺基甲酸酯系樹脂、環氧系樹脂、聚酯系樹脂、丙烯酸系樹脂及其等中之一種以上混合後而製造之共聚物。
本發明中,前述黏合劑樹脂包含1至20重量%,脫離前述範圍時有印刷性變差而產生斷線、或於印刷後圖案大幅地擴散且產生短路(short)之可能性增多,於焙燒後傳導度及分散穩定性降低之情形。
d)溶劑
本發明中,溶劑只要是通常使用於印刷用膏組成
物中之溶劑,可發揮溶解前述黏合劑樹脂、使銅奈米粒子及金屬前驅物分散之作用之溶劑即可,並無特別限定。
較好的是,作為可於本發明中使用之溶劑,可使
用沸點為60至300℃之極性或非極性溶劑,例如可將甲醇、乙醇、丙醇、異丙醇、丁醇、2-丁醇、辛醇、2-乙基己醇、戊醇、苄醇、己醇、2-己醇、環己醇、萜品醇等醇類;甲二醇、乙二醇、丁二醇、二乙二醇、三乙二醇、四乙二醇等二醇類;及甲苯、二甲苯、碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、丙二醇甲醚乙酸酯、2-甲氧基乙基乙酸酯、2-(2-乙氧基乙氧基)乙基乙酸酯、丙二醇單甲醚、N-甲基-2-吡咯啶酮等有機溶劑等混合一種以上而使用。
本發明中,前述溶劑以導電性組成物之剩餘量而
包含,較佳為包含15至50重量%。前述範圍內之情形,可使印刷性及圖案之佈局同時提高。
本發明之導電性組成物,除前述成分以外,可選
擇性地進一步包含添加劑。前述添加劑可將電極形成用墨水或膏中所包含之添加劑於通常之使用量之範圍內使用,作為一例,可分別於1至10重量%之範圍內包含流變調節劑、分散劑、或界面活性劑。
較好的是,為調節黏彈性而可包含3至10重量%
之聚胺基甲酸酯丙烯酸酯系、丙烯酸酯系及聚酯系之流動性添加劑(流變調節劑)。
又,導電性組成物係將構成組成物之各成分混合
而製造,較佳可經由下述製造階段而製造。
(1)使黏合劑樹脂溶解於一種以上之溶劑而製造黏合劑溶液之階段;(2)於前述黏合劑溶液添加混合銅粉末之階段;(3)於前述階段(2)所獲得之溶液中選擇性地添加添加劑與溶劑進行混合之階段;及(4)於前述階段(2)或階段(3)之混合物中混合金屬前驅物或金屬前驅物溶液之階段。
又,本發明係提供一種金屬微細圖案形成方法與藉由前述方法而製造之金屬微細圖案,該金屬微細圖案形成方法之特徵在於:將前述導電性組成物印刷於基板後,進行熱處理。
本發明中,印刷可應用於該領域中通常使用之各種印刷方法,例如間接凹版(Gravure off-set)印刷、直接凹版(Gravure direct)印刷、網版(Screen)印刷、壓印法等,所適用之基板可適用全部之一般基板,例如玻璃基板或塑膠基板全部可適用。又,熱處理方法可藉由於該領域通常使用之方法進行乾燥及焙燒而形成金屬微細圖案。較佳為,前述熱處理溫度可為100至350℃。
本發明之導電性組成物,因為藉由混合經抑制氧化之銅粒子及金屬前驅物溶液而於銅粒子之間導入金屬前驅物,從而提高燒結時形成之電極之密度,改善表面粗糙度,顯示高傳導度、容易形成厚膜及改善基板接著力等優異之性能,故可有用地用於形成結晶質太陽能電池用電極、薄膜太陽能電池用電極、染料敏化太陽能電池用電極、觸
控面板用電極、RFID天線或多層電容器之電路之微細圖案。
以下,為理解本發明,提供較佳實施例,但下述實施例僅為例示本發明,本發明之範圍並不限定於下述實施例。
藉由下述表1之組成,以如下所述方法製造銅墨水組成物。
使高分子樹脂(黏合劑)溶解於一種以上之有機溶劑,製造黏合劑溶液後,添加經塗覆有機物之銅奈米粒子進行混合,之後添加添加劑及有機溶劑進行混合。於此混合銅前驅物而製造銅墨水組成物。此時,前述混合使用於Dhowatech(音譯)股份有限公司購入之PDM-300V(Vacuum Type)之膏混合機,以1,200至1,300rpm於常溫下進行5分鐘以內。
使用原子顯微鏡(Atomic Force Mciroscope,AFM)觀察前述實施例1至2及比較例1至5所製造之銅墨水組成物之表面,將其結果顯示於圖1至7。
又,測定前述實施例1至2及比較例1至6所製造之銅墨水組成物之表面粗糙度及面電阻,將其結果顯示於下表2。
此時,面電阻使用MS TECH所製造之4點探針面電阻器(302System)對導電度進行測定。
如上述表2所示,可確認本發明之銅墨水組成物
之表面粗糙度及面電阻優異,尤其是與不含銅前驅物之比較例1至3相比,藉由包含銅前驅物可將表面粗糙度分別顯著改善為73nm及65nm左右。
使用器具(Applicator)將前述實施例1之銅墨水組成物塗佈於基板後,以Teinchemical(音譯)之TI-7400Blanket與Narenanotec(音譯)之平版(off-set)設備進行印刷(形成厚度:約400-600nm、線寬:約25μm之圖案),將其結果顯示於圖8。
如圖8所示,可知本發明之銅墨水組成物之印刷性優異。
根據下述表3之組成,以與前述實施例1至2及比較例1至6對等之方法製造銅膏組成物。
使用原子顯微鏡(Atomic Force Mciroscope,AFM)觀察前述實施例3及比較例7至9所製造之銅膏組成物之表面,將其結果顯示於圖9至12。
又,測定前述銅膏組成物之表面粗糙度及線電阻,將其結果顯示於下表4。
此時,表面粗糙度以與前述試驗例1相同之方法進行測定,線電阻則以導電度進行測定。
如上述表4所示,確認本發明之銅膏組成物與比較例之膏組成物相比,可獲得線電阻及表面粗糙度同時優異之效果。
使用瑞宇K&J股份有限公司製造之網版設備(SW-25GX)將前述實施例3及比較例7之銅膏組成物印刷於基板後,測定剝離強度以評價附著力,將其結果分別顯示於圖13及14。
如圖13及14所示,確認若使用本發明之組成物則可實現50μm左右之線寬,剝離強度為1,400gf以上優異。
Claims (11)
- 一種導電性組成物,其特徵在於包含:a)銅(Cu)粉末30至70重量%;b)金屬前驅物大於10重量%且小於20重量%;c)黏合劑樹脂1至20重量%;及d)剩餘量之溶劑,其中前述銅粉末是表面經塗覆有機物的銅粉末,且所述有機物為胺,表面經塗覆胺之前述銅粉末之平均粒子大小為40至100nm。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其中前述金屬前驅物之金屬是銀、銅、鎳或包含其等之合金。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其中前述金屬前驅物是使用含碳數6至18之脂肪酸合成的金屬前驅物。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其中前述金屬前驅物選自由以下所組成之群中之一種以上,即:己酸銅(Cu-hexanoate)、庚酸銅(Cu-heptanoate)、辛酸銅(Cu-octanoate)、壬酸銅(Cu-nonanoate)、癸酸銅(Cu-decanoate)、新癸酸銅(Cu-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸銅(Cu-stearate)、異硬脂酸銅(Cu-isostearate)、油酸銅(Cu-oleate)、蓖麻酸銅(Cu-ricinoleate);己酸銀(Ag-hexanoate)、庚酸銀(Ag-heptanoate)、辛酸銀(Ag-octanoate)、壬酸銀(Ag-nonanoate)、癸酸銀 (Ag-decanoate)、新癸酸銀(Ag-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸銀(Ag-stearate)、異硬脂酸銀(Ag-isostearate)、油酸銀(Ag-oleate)、蓖麻酸銀(Ag-ricinoleate);己酸鎳(Ni-hexanoate)、庚酸鎳(Ni-heptanoate)、辛酸鎳(Ni-octanoate)、壬酸鎳(Ni-nonanoate)、癸酸鎳(Ni-decanoate)、新癸酸鎳(Ni-neodecanoate)、硬脂酸鎳(Ni-stearate)、異硬脂酸鎳(Ni-isostearate)、油酸鎳(Ni-oleate)、蓖麻酸鎳(Ni-ricinoleate)。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其中前述黏合劑樹脂選自由纖維素系、環氧系、聚酯系、聚胺基甲酸酯系及丙烯酸系所組成之群中之一種以上。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其中前述溶劑是沸點為60至300℃之極性或非極性溶劑。
- 如請求項1之導電性組成物,其進一步包含流變調節劑、分散劑、或界面活性劑。
- 如請求項7之導電性組成物,其中前述流變調節劑是聚胺基甲酸酯丙烯酸酯系、丙烯酸酯系或聚酯系。
- 一種金屬微細圖案形成方法,其特徵在於:將請求項1至8中任一項之導電性組成物印刷於基板,進行熱處理。
- 一種金屬微細圖案,其藉由請求項9而製造。
- 如請求項10之金屬微細圖案,其中前述金屬微細圖案是結晶質太陽能電池用電極、薄膜太陽能電池用電極、染料敏化太陽能電池用電極、觸控面板用電極、RFID天線 或多層電容器之電路的微細圖案。
