An anti-lock brake-control device comprising: a front-wheel (WF) brake (BF) set on front wheel, a rear-wheel brake (BR) set on rear wheel (WR), a single modulator (M) which can modulate the brake force of front- and rear-wheel brake, a front-wheel speed sensor (45F), a rear-wheel speed sensor (45B), and a controller controlling the modulator, the controller including: a slip-rate calculating means which calculates the slip rates of front and rear wheels according to values sensed by front- and rear-wheel speed sensors, a target slip-rate deciding means which decides target slip-rate curve provided with the relationship that the rear-wheel slip rate decreased following the increase on front-wheel slip rate at the Cartesian coordinates constituted by the slip rates of front- and rear-wheel, a slip-rate bias calculating means which calculates the distance between the target slip-rate curve and the present position of the slip rate on the Cartesian coordinates decided by the slip rates of front and rear wheels obtained through the slip-rate calculating means, a determining means which determines if the position of the slip rate is in the control domain of decreasing brake force while setting the control domain of decreasing brake force on the target slip-rate curve, a control amount deciding means which, according to the distance, decides the control amount of modulator on the sides of decreasing brake force of front- and rear-wheel brake when the determining means determines the position of the slip rate is in the control domain of decreasing brake force, and a modulator driving means which sends control signal to drive modulator according to the control amount decided by control amount deciding means.
