Abstract

Disclosed is a current-driving electronic breaker device, comprising a current mirror circuit, a latch circuit and a power metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET), wherein a current-to-voltage converter is used to control the voltage of an emitter of BJT or a source of FET that constitutes a current mirror so as to generate non-oppositive currents on both sides of the current mirror. With the arrangement of the current mirror, four transistors of a current detection circuit are kept in the active status, and the latch circuit drives a switching circuit constituted by the power MOSFET, thus an electronic breaker device featuring fast response, low dissipation, and automatic restoration is provided.
