Abstract

A rotary shaft support structure of an industrial vehicle has a shaft casing, a roller bearing, a rotary shaft, a seal member on an outer side of the roller bearing in the shaft casing to be in sliding contact with an peripheral surface of the rotary shaft, and an annular seal cover mounted coaxially with the rotary shaft on the outer side of the seal member so as to face the seal member. The seal cover includes a mounting portion mounted on the rotary shaft, an inclined portion extending from the mounting portion toward the seal member, and a curved edge extending from the inclined portion. The inclined portion has an inclined surface due to expansion of diameter. The curved edge has a convex curved surface formed continuously with the inclined surface, expanding its diameter. The seal member has a lip in sliding contact all around the inclined surface.
