Abstract

A connector in which a leading edge portion 72 of a flexible printed circuit board 70 is inserted into the inside of a housing 20, and an operation lever 60 is operated, whereby a first active contact point 33a of a contact 30 retained in the housing 20 is brought into press-contact with the leading edge portion 72 of the flexible printed board 70 so that they are electrically connected. In particular, the leading edge portion 72 of the flexible printed circuit board 70 is held by a passive contact point 34a protrusively provided on the contact 30 and the first active contact point 33a formed so as to be opposed to the passive contact point 34a and urged toward the passive contact point 34a side, whereby an electrical connection is established.
