Abstract

The damping device is for hydraulic systems for soil working implements, esp. ploughs, to allow damping of the pressure peaks appearing in the hydraulic system. There is a piston plunger with one piston side connected to the pressure line to the operating cylinder for the excavation while the opposite piston side is connected to the pressure line for the overload system of the plough body. The overload system can be filled with hydraulic oil via a cut-off valve and is adjusted to a smaller pressure than is necessary for digging the plough in the operating cylinder.
