Description

Instruments are known for familiarizing one with the study and compilation of various colors by combining transparent colored plates. In the proposed device for the selection of color tones, a movable tape located beneath plates with transparent color patterns is applied into strips colored in different colors having dimensions equal to those of the said plates and serving as a background for the patterns.

The purpose of the device (Fig. 1) is to quickly find a beautiful combination of paints according to the standard pattern in the device or according to your psh: unka. The device is intended for colorists of textile and wallpaper factories, artisanal and printing industry, for artists, teachers and physicists as an important aid in the study of colors.

The main parts of the device are as follows: a set of glass figures (Fig. 4-b), a set of colored backgrounds (Fig. 3 and 7) and a frame connecting the parts into the device (Fig. 1).

Glass bottles (Fig. 4-6) are made from B-sized plates.

Colored backgrounds can be made of paper or cloth of standard colors, but different from those on glass drawings.
