Abstract
The invention provides for a paver pre-stressor apparatus for use with a paved surface having a plurality of pavers. The apparatus includes at least two body members arranged to be displaceable relative to each other along at least one axis or arc. In addition, the apparatus further has as adjustable urging means arranged between the body members. The urging means is configured to adjustably urge the body members away from each other along the axis or arc. Such adjustment of the urging means facilitates compressive interlocking of the pavers when the apparatus is incorporated into the paved surface. [Figure 2A]
