Claims (7)

1. An information processing device comprising control means that allows the physical position of file data recorded on a medium to correspond to a logical position by developing a correspondence table between a logical position and a physical position, thereby controlling, when the physical position is changed, the correspondence between the logical position and physical position after this change; recording means for recording file data and data of elements of the correspondence table in the form of recorded data; computing means for calculating the remaining recording capacity of the medium; comparing means for comparing the amount of data recorded in the memory with the remaining capacity of the medium, and an output device for outputting the result of the detected residue as a result of the detected residue when the residue is detected.  2. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein the recording means immediately records the recorded data into memory on the medium as soon as the result of the detected balance is output.  3. The information processing device according to claim 5, wherein the key information is a sequential key number and a block number inherently belonging to the file data.  7. An information processing method consisting of the following stages: enabling the physical position of the file information recorded on the medium to correspond to the logical position by developing a correspondence table between the logical position and physical position, thereby controlling the change in the correspondence value between the logical position and physical position after the change ; writing file data to memory and data of elements of the correspondence table as recorded data; calculating the remaining recording capacity of the medium; comparing the amount of data recorded in the memory with the remaining storage capacity of the medium; outputting the result of the detected residue as the result of the detected residue when the comparator shows the presence of the remainder for recording.
