Claims (19)

(a) wrapping a portion of fresh food in a sheet containing (i) a film suitable for contact with food; (ii) a layer of edible glue deposited on one side of the specified film, while the specified glue is selected so that it dissolves in the liquid released from these products at low temperature; and (iii) a preservative or pickling agent held on said film with said adhesive;
so that said preservative or pickling substance is in direct contact with said food products;
(b) sealing said wrapped foods in a container that is substantially impervious to air and microorganisms; and
(c) keeping said sealed products at said low temperature, at least until said food product is sufficiently preserved or pickled.

(a) sealing a portion of fresh food products into a sheet containing (i) a film that is substantially impervious to air and microorganisms that is suitable for contact with food; (ii) a layer of edible adhesive deposited on one side of the specified film, and the specified adhesive is selected so that it dissolves in the liquid released from these products at low temperature; and (iii) a preservative or pickling agent held on said film with said adhesive;
so that said preservative or pickling substance is in direct contact with said food products; and
(b) keeping said sealed product at said low temperature, at least until said food product is sufficiently preserved or pickled.
