Abstract

FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-blade engine has block of three elliptical cylinders. For the purpose of balancing, two extreme cylinders are twice as smaller in height as elliptical middle cylinder and are turned through 180 degrees along axis relative to middle cylinder. Elliptical cylinders are connected to intermediate cylinders extreme cylinders being closed by covers. Rotor is installed in block with displacement relative to center of elliptical cylinders for rotation on antifriction bearings. Three rectangular holes are made along rotor section. Rectangular blades with sealing plates are freely installed in holes for alternate linear motion and rotation. Combustion chambers in form of slots are made on radial surface of rotor. At the end of compression strokes combustion chambers get connected with elliptical cylinders through bypass channels, with suction and compression taking place in extreme cylinders and working stroke and exhaust stroke, in middle cylinder. All strokes take place simultaneously and two working strokes occur during one revolution of rotor. EFFECT: increased efficiency of internal combustion engine, simplified design, reduced production and operation expenses, reduced weight per horsepower.

Claims (1)

The invention relates to the field of transport. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of an internal combustion engine, simplifying and cheapening production and operation, reducing weight by l l / s. The goal is achieved by the fact that the proposed rotary vane engine includes a block of ellipsoidal cylinders, the extreme ones of which for balancing are 2 times smaller in height of the middle ellipsoid cylinder and rotated 180 degrees along the axis with respect to it. The ellipse-shaped cylinders are bonded to the intermediate cylinders, and the extreme ones are closed by caps. In the block with a rotation relative to the center of the ellipsoidal cylinders, a rotor is placed on the rolling bearings, with a cross section of which there are 3 rectangular holes in which rectangular blades with sealing plates are freely, with the possibility of linear and rotational movements. The rotor on the radial surface has combustion chambers in the form of grooves, which at the end of the compression strokes through the bypass channels are connected to elliptical cylinders, in the extreme of which there is suction and compression, on average, the stroke and exhaust. All measures take place simultaneously and 2 working moves occur during 1 revolution of the rotor.
