EFFECT: method increases efficiency of face and neck massage due to achievement of relaxation of massaged muscles, resulting in improvement of blood supply to head and lymph outflow.

Description

The invention relates to medicine, in particular cosmetology, and can be used for cosmetic procedures for rejuvenation of the face and neck as a massage therapist, and by the patient himself.

A known massage method based on the development of facial muscles by working out the muscles of the face under the load created with the hands, while the muscles are exerted at rest by pulling a portion of the skin of the face at the site of weaving of the trained muscle in the direction opposite to the contraction of this muscle ( RF patent No. 2172626, class A61H 1/00 dated 08/27/2001).

The disadvantage of this method is its relatively low efficiency, due to the fact that the use of this method can lead to overstretching of the muscle, which can lead to undesirable consequences.

The closest technical solution for the combination of essential features is a method of eliminating wrinkles using osteopathic techniques, which includes stretching the muscles with an osteopathic technique of myofascial relaxation, in which the area for stretching is palpated and the zone of the greatest stretching of the tissue and the place where its mobility is limited, followed by stretching the tissue along the line of muscle fibers (RF patent No. 2295325, class A61H 1/00 dated 03/20/2007).

The disadvantage of this method is its relatively low muscle relaxation efficiency, because, performing myofascial relaxation, the masseur discovers specific mobility restrictions in the patient’s soft tissues along the tension line and eliminates them. This need is due to the fact that the method is based on the strain of muscle tension, which leads to the danger of muscle overstrain.

The problem to which the claimed invention is directed, is to increase the effectiveness of face and neck massage.

The problem is solved due to the fact that in the method of osteopathic rejuvenation of the face and neck, including physical effects on the muscles of the fingers, physical effects on the muscles are carried out by myofascial effects on the biological active points of the corresponding muscles of the face sections with a force of 5-7 g until the appearance of rhythmic muscle contraction .

The osteopathic method of facial and neck rejuvenation is as follows.

To exert influence on the facial area, for example, the zygomaticus muscle, the index and middle fingers are installed on biologically active points at the end and at the beginning of the facial muscle, on the exhalation of the patient with concentration on these points (see figure 1). Moreover, these fingers of both hands are set on both sides of the face. After installing the fingers, soft pressure is applied to these points with a force of 5-7 g, and the duration of the applied effort is determined until the rhythmic contraction of the muscle (its pulsation regardless of pulse) appears. This time is 1-2 minutes.

The result of this effect on biologically active points is the relaxation of the zygomatic muscle of the face.

Similarly, the effect on the muscles that raise the upper lip, the angle of the mouth and the muscles of the nose is carried out. It is advisable to work with the circular muscles of the mouth and eyes alternately in any sequence using the index fingers of both hands.

Self-massage is recommended to start from the neck, as preliminary massage of this area provides unhindered blood supply to the head and outflow of lymph, and as a result - good nutrition of the basal layer of the epidermis, good skin tone and turgor. Unobstructed outflow of lymph also means the absence of congestion (swelling on the face).

With self-massage, a person himself has a soft, non-traumatic effect on his body.

Carrying out an osteopathic session of rejuvenating the face and neck with soft myofascial non-invasive effects increases the effectiveness, because tissue movement during muscle contraction occurs in three-dimensional space, while not only superficial, but also deep tissues of the body are covered.
