Abstract
The columns provide guidance for the roller insert (2) and accommodate flexure blocks. A short-stroke adjustment cylinder (7) is located between the lower roller support insert (8) and the lower traverse (5). By separate arrangement of the tension spindles (3) and the roller insert (2) in the machine frame columns (1), the functions of force transmission onto the rollers and guidance for the roller inserts (2) are separated. An independent claim is included for the corresponding method of adjustment.
