Przedstawiono sposób adaptacyjnego przekształcania na podstawie przewidywania na ekranie oraz urządzenie wykorzystujące ten sposób. Sposób kodowania obrazu może obejmować etap określania grup trybu predykcji na ekranie oraz etap przekształcania przez wykorzystanie innego sposobu przekształcania zgodnie z grupą trybu predykcji na ekranie. W rezultacie, przekształcanie może być wykonywane przez zastosowanie innego sposobu przekształcania zgodnie z grupą trybu predykcji na ekranie.
