THE SECOND CURRENT EXPANDS AT A LOWER PRESSURE AND IS SUPPLIED AS A BOTTOM FEED TO THE BOTTOM ABSORBING MEANS. A LIQUID DISTILLATION STREAM FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE BACKGROUND ABSORPTION MEANS IS HEATED IN A HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER MEDIA, TO DEMETANIZE ITS VOLATILE COMPONENTS. A CURRENT OF VAPOR DISTILLATION FROM THE UPPER OF THE HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER MEDIA IS COOLED BY A CURRENT OF VAPOR DISTILLATION FROM THE UPPER OF THE UPPER ABSORPTION MEANS, THUS FORMING A CONDENSED CURRENT WHICH IS SUPPLIED AS A SUPPLY UPPER THEM.
