제1도는 본발명의 투광형 표시장치를 나타낸 개략도,
제2도는 본 발명의 상부와 하부기판의 와이어가 매트릭스에 결합되는 상태를 나타낸 개략평면도이다.
Claims (7)
- 각각 전압인가수단이 제공되는 한쌍의 기판과 기판중 적어도 하나에 형성되는 방향조절층과 기판 쌍사이에 형성되는 액정조성물층을 구성하며, 강유전 액정조성물이 식(I)의 광학 활성기를 가지는 적어도 하나의 화합물(a)과;네마틱상에 도입되는 나사선 피치의 방향에서 화합물(a)에 역인 적어도 하나의 화합물(b)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하며, 그 액정조성물이 적어도 스메틱 C상, 스메틱 A상, 나사선 피치에서 적어도 20μm인 네마틱상을 표시하는 강유전 액정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서의 화합물(a)이 식(II)의 광학 활성화합물이고;여기에서 A1, A2, A3이 각각 6원자고리를 포함하고 치환제를 가지거나 가지지 않는 각각의 기이고, X는 -O-, -COO-, OCO-, 혹은 단일결합이고, Y1, Y2는 각각 -COO, -OCO-, -OCH2, -CH2CH2-, -CH=CH-, -C≡C- 혹은 단일 결합이고, R1, R2는 각각 1-15 탄소원자를 가지는 곧은 사슬 혹은 가지달린 사슬 알킬이고, p.q.r은 각각 0 혹은 1의 정수인 강유전 액정장치.
- 제2항에 있어서의 식(II)의 광학활성화합물의 분자 R2-X(A1-Y1)p-(A2-Y2)q-(A3)r가 식들 중에서 선택된 하나의 식으로 표시되고;여기에서 R2와 p가 식(II)에서 규정된 것이고, n은 0혹은 1이고 Z는 -CN 혹은 F인 강유전 액정장치.
- 제2항과 3항에 있어서의 식(II)의 R1은 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 C1-12알킬이고, R는 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 C1-15알킬인 강유전 액정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서 화합물(a)이 식(II′)의 광학활성 화합물이고;여기에서 R9은 매게 산화원소를 가지거나 가지지 않는 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 C1-15지방족 탄화수소기이고, R10은 곧은 혹은 가지난 사슬 C1-15알킬기이고, A4는 페닐렌기 혹은 시클로헥산기이고, m, n은 각각 0 혹은 1인 강유전 액정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서 화합물(b)이 식(III)의 광학 활성기를 가지는 화합물이고;여기에서 Z는 -COO-, OCO-, -O-, -CO-이고, B는 CH3, CN, 할로겐, CH2F, CF3이고, R은 1-15 탄소원자를 가지는 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 알킬인 강유전 액정장치.
- 제1항에 있어서 화합물(b)이 식중 하나에 의해 표시되는 화합물이고;여기에서 R′과 R′″는 같거나 상이하고, 각각 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 C1-15알킬이고, R′″는 곧은 혹은 가지달린 사슬 C1-15알킬 혹은 CH2COOC2H5이고, B는 CH3, CN, CF3, CHF2, CH2F 혹은 할로겐(Cl, F, Br)이고, Y는 -COO-, -OCO-, -OCH2-, CH2O이고, - -는 - H -, 혹은 - -이고, n과 m은 각각 0 혹은 1인 강유전 액정장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
