Claims (31)
- 미세유체 분배 장치(microfluidic distributing device)로서,
유체 샘플(fluid sample)을 수용하기 위한 유체 샘플 유입 포트(fluid sample entry port)를 가지는 기부 부분,
상기 유체 샘플 입구 포트 내에 수용된 상기 유체 샘플이 복수의 유체 서브샘플(fluid subsample)들로 분리되도록 상기 유체 샘플 유입 포트와 유체 연통하는 복수의 유체 유동 미세채널(microchannel)들, 및
복수의 유체 서브샘플 출구 포트들로서, 각각이 상기 미세채널들 중 대응하는 미체채널과 유체 연통하는, 복수의 유체 서브샘플 출구 포트를 포함하며,
상기 미세채널들 각각은 상기 미세채널을 통한 유체 서브샘플의 유동을 제어하기 위해 상기 미세채널 내에 배치된 밸브(valve). 및 상기 미세채널을 통과하는 유체 서브샘플 상에서 또는 유체 서브샘플과 반응하기 위한 시약을 구비한 시약 영역을 가지는,
미세유체 분배 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 유체 샘플 유입 포트는 단일 유체 샘플 유입 포트인,
미세유체 분배 장치. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 미세채널들 중 하나 이상의 미세채널은 상기 시약 영역과 상기 미세채널 내의 상기 유체 서브샘플 출구 포트 사이에 위치 설정된 계량 영역(metering area)을 포함하는,

상기 복수의 미세채널들은 단지 유체 샘플 유입 포트에서만 서로 유체 연통하는,

각각의 미세채널 밸브(microchannel valve)는 각각의 다른 미세채널 밸브와 관계없이 가동되는,

미세유체 분석 시스템. - 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 미세유체 분배 장치의 각각의 출구 포트에 대응하는 테스트 장치를 가지는,
미세유체 분석 시스템. - 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 테스트 장치들은 상기 미세유체 분배 장치가 상기 테스트 장치들 각각과 순차적으로 맞물리게 가동되도록 배열되는,
미세유체 분석 시스템. - 제 19 항에 있어서,
상기 미세유체 분배 장치는 수직 방향으로 가동되는,
미세유체 분석 시스템. - 제 19 항에 있어서,
상기 미세유체 분배 장치는 수평 방향으로 가동되는,

상기 복수의 테스트 장치들은 단일 유닛(single unit)로 조합되고 상기 단일 유닛으로 상기 미세유체 분배 장치가 부착되어 상기 테스트 장치들이 유체 서브샘플들을 동시에 수용할 수 있는,
미세유체 분석 시스템. - 복수의 유체 서브샘플들을 처리하는 방법으로서,
유체 샘플을 제 1 항의 미세유체 분배 장치의 유체 샘플 유입 포트내로 도입하는 단계;
상기 유체 샘플을 복수의 유체 서브샘플들로 분할하는 단계; 및
유체 서브샘플을 각각의 미세채널 내에 배치하도록 유체 서브샘플들을 미세유체 분배 장치의 미세채널들 내로 분배하는 단계를 포함하며,
상기 유체 서브샘플은 반응된 유체 서브샘플을 형성하도록 상기 미세채널의 시약 영역 내에서 시약과의 반응에 의해 처리되고,
반응된 유체 서브샘플의 적어도 일 부분이 대응하는 테스트 장치 내로 미세채널의 출구 포트를 통과하며 상기 반응된 유체 서브샘플이 상기 테스트 장치에 의해 분석되는,
복수의 유체 서브샘플들을 처리하는 방법. - 제 24 항에 있어서,
