Description
The present invention relates to a drawer comprising two lateral frames, a front panel secured to the lateral frame, a rear wall, a drawer bottom and an attachment, wherein the attachment is disposed on the lateral frame and the rear wall and is pocket-shaped. It is fixed to the mutually opposite sides of the front panel and the rear wall by the mounting.
Related drawers of various structures are known. Such drawers are inserted and withdrawn by drawer slides within each compartment of a piece of furniture. In the case of normal construction, the height of the lateral frame and the rear wall is considerably lower than the height of the front panel. The volume surrounded by the lateral frame, the rear wall and the front panel is thus small. Especially in the case of kitchen furniture, there has been a need for an increase in enclosed volume. Thus, attachments are known which are arranged on the lateral frame and the rear wall. This offers the possibility that the enclosed volume can be increased retroactively by the user.
To fix the attachment, the pocket-like mount is fastened to the front panel and the rear wall by screws. These screws penetrate the legs fixed to the front panel and the rear wall.
In known configurations, the pocket-like mount is closed off at the top and bottom sides or at the side facing or away from the bottom of the drawer. As a result, it is possible to mount only the mounting fixed to the front panel or the mounting fixed to the rear wall first. Subsequently, another mounting is first placed on the end region of the lateral frame and then a fixation is made after transfer to the end position. In general, the mounting on the front panel is fixed first. Since the side frames need to be placed in an inclined position for insertion into the mount, the height of the pocket-shaped mount is higher than the height of the attachment disposed on the lateral frame. The drawer structure described above is not only complicated from a structural point of view, but also has the disadvantage that the upper sections of the mounting opposite the drawer bottom protrude against the upper sections of the attachment.
The present invention aims, in particular, to provide a drawer of the type described above, in which the mounting of the attachment can be considerably simplified and in which the disturbing edges do not protrude.
This purpose is that the pocket-shaped mount is opened on the top side facing the opposite side of the drawer bottom, and the top sides of the attachment are aligned with the top sides of the pocket-shaped mount, and on the bottom side facing the drawer bottom. The formed pocket-type mounting is contoured in a manner that allows displacement and / or locking.
Due to the construction of the pocket-type mount according to the invention, such a pocket-type mount can be arranged by latching it in the undercut of the lateral frame in such a way that the pocket-type mount is first displaceable, and in the next step such a pocket The -shaped mounting is fixed to the front panel and the attachment which raises the rear wall. Thereafter, the attachment is placed onto the lateral frame from above. In the case of the respective configuration of the pocket-shaped mount and at least the end regions of the attachment, it will be engaged in the pocket in a play-free manner, so that no noise will be generated when pushing and pulling the drawer. In addition, a height-enhancing attachment is secured to the rear wall by glue. The pocket-like mount is preferably aligned on the bottom side by a functional profile strip or along the facing surfaces of the lateral frame.
In order to secure the pocket-like mount to the attachment associated with the front panel or the rear wall, the fixation may be made by screws that penetrate one or more fastening elements, for example adjacent webs.
In order to allow each attachment to be additionally secured, one or more latching bores are provided in one or more walls of the pocket-like mount, where a cylindrical securing element can be introduced that engages in the bore of the attachment.
In another embodiment, one or more latching protrusions are provided on one or more walls of each pocket-shaped mount, the latching protrusions engage the latching bores at the end positions of each attachment. These latching protrusions can be aligned in the manner of a domed section or a spherical section.
In a further development, the upper faces of the attachment facing away from the bottom of the drawer protrude against the top face of the front panel along the direction towards the bottom of the drawer.
In a further refinement, an access opening is provided in at least the outer wall of the holding element facing the front panel. Such access openings may be aligned in such a way as to enable unlocking of the latching connection by means of a tool. In addition, as will be described in more detail below, a specially aligned tool may be inserted into this access opening and then held on the holding element.
In this embodiment, additionally, at least the holding element associated with each rear wall of the drawer may comprise one or several latching elements for connection with the associated attachment. Preferably, the latching element consists of several suspension hooks, preferably two mutually spaced hooks, and a latching hook aligned between the two suspension hooks. This facilitates hooking in attachments that raise the rear wall.
It would be further desirable to provide a latching opening positioned correctly in relation to the latching hook and the hanging hook in the attachment, where one or more of the hanging hooks may be hooked.
More preferably, the holding elements associated with the front panel have a latching profile on the side facing the front panel for connection with the front panel.
More preferably, the side frame of the drawer is connected with the front panel by a latching element, and the latching is locked and unlocked by a rotary latch. More preferably, the latching profile pin is located in the front panel on the inside above the side frame of the drawer, which pin can be latched together with the latching element of the adjacent holding element.

In particular, because objects stored in the drawer can be pressed against the rear wall when the drawer is pulled out of the furniture body, the attachment associated with the rear wall extends from the bottom of the drawer to the top faces of the attachment disposed on the lateral frame.
