System and method for connection to first reciever}

The present invention relates to a number called party connection service, and more particularly, to a service for selecting and connecting a first called party at an exchange.

Nowadays, due to the diversification of communication devices, one user has more than one phone number. When one user is using multiple phone numbers, the caller is inconvenient to try to call several telephone numbers one by one.

On the other hand, terminals and communication service systems for automatically calling a plurality of telephone numbers have been developed.

However, the existing system is trying to make a call in order of priority among each phone number, which is not much different from the caller making one call manually. Therefore, there is a problem in that it takes a long time until the call path is connected due to the continuous call to each phone number.

The present invention provides a priority called party connection service system using a representative number.

Technical problems other than the present invention will be easily understood through the following description.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a communication system comprising: a home location register for storing destination group information including a plurality of destination telephone numbers; In response to a call setup request from an originating terminal, an initial address message is transmitted to a plurality of destination exchanges corresponding to the plurality of destination telephone numbers, and a response message is first transmitted among a plurality of destination exchanges that have transmitted a response message corresponding to the initial address message. Provided is a preferred called party connection system that includes a sending destination exchange and a calling exchange that establishes a call path.

According to another aspect of the present invention, a call setup method of an exchange in a communication network, comprising: requesting and receiving a plurality of incoming telephone numbers from a calling terminal to a home location register according to a call setup request; Sending an initial address message to a plurality of destination exchanges corresponding to the plurality of destination telephone numbers; There is provided a call setup method comprising the step of establishing a call path with a destination exchange that initially transmitted a response message among a plurality of destination exchanges that have transmitted a response message corresponding to the initial address message.

The present invention has the effect of providing a caller connection service system first.

The present invention has the effect of making a quick call connection with a phone number of the plurality of telephone numbers.

1 is a diagram illustrating each component of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention. Other additional components are required to configure an actual communication system, but will be omitted for clarity of the invention. Referring to FIG. 1, a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an originating terminal 110, an originating exchange 120, a home location register 130, and a destination exchange 140.

The calling terminal 110 is a wireless terminal that can be used in a communication system using a communication network. The calling terminal 110 may perform calling with the representative number. The representative number is a called number representing a plurality of previously stored called numbers. The calling terminal 110 receives the calling input with the representative number and transmits a setup message to the calling switch 120. In fact, the calling terminal 110 transmits the representative number in the same process as calling the general telephone number.

In addition, the originating terminal 110 may receive an alert message (ALERT) from the originating exchange 120 may provide a ring back tone to the user. When the caller terminal 110 receives the progress message (PROGRESS) again while providing the ring back tone to the user, the originating terminal 110 may continue to provide the existing ring back tone to the user. That is, when the caller terminal 110 receives an alert message corresponding to a plurality of called numbers, the caller terminal 110 may provide a user with a ring back tone corresponding to the first received alert message.

A mobile switching center (MSC) controls voice calls and various additional services, exchanges information with a home location register 130 that stores subscriber information to perform an exchange function, and establishes a call path. It provides the connection function between the equipment and external network. The originating exchange 120 extracts the representative number from the setup message received from the originating terminal 110. The originating exchange 120 transmits a transmission routing information (SRI) message to the home location register requesting the destination terminal information and the destination exchange routing information for the representative number. The originating exchange 120 then receives a forwarding routing information message containing a plurality of called numbers from the home location register 130. Subsequently, the originating exchange 120 may extract a plurality of called numbers and transmit the initial message IAM to the plurality of called exchanges 140 corresponding thereto. In addition, when the originating exchange 120 receives the setup completion message (ACM) corresponding to the initial address message from the terminating exchange 140, it provides a ring back tone according to the alert message to the originating terminal. At this time, when the originating exchange 120 receives the setting completion message from another destination exchange 140 after the initial setting completion message, the originating exchange 120 transmits a progress message to the originating terminal 110. Depending on the implementation of the communication network and the switch, the progress message may not be transmitted.

The originating exchange 120 then receives a response message (ANM) from the terminating exchange 140 and transmits a call connection signal to the originating terminal 110 to provide a call connection with the terminating terminal. At this time, the originating exchange 120 is connected to the calling terminal (110) other than the called number other than the called number (hereinafter referred to as 'unconnected called number') for the exchange corresponding to the disconnection signal (REL) Send it. That is, the originating exchange 120 may connect a call path with the called terminal that sent the response message first and stop performing call connection with the other called terminal.

The home location register 130 stores the subscriber information and the service profile and transmits the information according to the requests of the connected devices. Home location register 130 may be connected to the destination group database. Home location register 130 receives a forwarding routing information message including a representative number from originating exchange 120. The home location register 130 checks the representative number and retrieves the destination group information from the destination group database including the plurality of destination telephone numbers corresponding to the representative number. The home location register 130 then sends the destination group information corresponding to the representative number to the originating exchange 120 in a transmission routing information message.

So far, the components of the communication system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention have been described with reference to FIG. 1. Hereinafter, a call processing process between the above-described elements will be described with reference to FIG. 2.

2 is a diagram illustrating a process of setting a called group corresponding to a representative number of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention.

2, the originating terminal 110 transmits a registration request signal of the called group to the destination exchange 140. At this time, the calling terminal 110 may generate a registration request signal through an input using a feature code or a text message in which a specific code corresponding to a called group setting is set as a called number, and transmit the registration request signal to the called exchange 140.

The destination exchange 140 sends a registration request signal to the home location register. The home location register 130 may extract a list of the called phone numbers included in the registration request signal and set the representative phone number in the called group database. That is, the destination exchange 140 may set the called number registered in the service as the representative number, and set a separate phone number as the called group by the above-described process.

Although described as setting to the calling terminal 110 with reference to Figure 2, it is obvious that can be set using a portal site provided by the communication provider. Hereinafter, a call processing process of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 3.

3 is a diagram illustrating a call processing process of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 3, the originating terminal 110 transmits a setup message to the originating exchange 120. The originating exchange 120 generates and transmits a transmission routing information message including the representative number included in the setup message to the home location register 130. The home location register 130 checks whether the called group database includes the called number (representative number) included in the transport routing information message. The home location register 130 receives the destination group information corresponding to the identified representative number from the destination group database and includes the destination group information in the transmission routing information message to transmit to the originating exchange 120.

Subsequently, the originating exchange 120 transmits the initial address message to the destination exchange 140 corresponding to the plurality of called numbers included in the called group information, respectively. That is, the originating exchange 120 transmits the first initial address message to the first called exchange 141 corresponding to the first called number included in the called group information. In addition, the originating exchange 120 transmits the second initial address message to the second destination exchange 142 corresponding to the second called number simultaneously with the transmission of the first initial address message. At this time, assuming that a setup completion message corresponding to two initial address messages is first received from the first destination exchange 141, the originating exchange 120 transmits an alert message to the originating terminal 110. The calling terminal 110 reproduces the ring back tone corresponding to the alert message. If the user corresponding to the first called number uses the ring back tone replacement service, the calling exchange 120 may provide the ring back tone to the calling exchange 120 in association with the ring back tone replacement service server (not shown). Thereafter, when the originating exchange 120 receives the setting completion message, the originating exchange 120 may transmit a progress message to the originating terminal 110. Even if the originating terminal 110 receives the progress message, it maintains the existing call ring tone or the alternate ring tone without interrupting and replacing another ring tone. In addition, if the call exchanger 120 does not interwork with the ring back tone replacement service server (not shown) corresponding to the first incoming number, even if the ring back tone replacement service corresponding to the called number is set later, the ring back tone replacement service server (not shown) ) May not work together. The originating exchange 120 waits to receive a response message from the terminating exchange 140 while the ring back tone is provided.

The originating exchange 120 first receives a response message from the first incoming exchange 141. Accordingly, the originating exchange 120 transmits a signal for call connection between the originating terminal 110 and the called terminal (not shown) to the originating terminal 110. In addition, the originating exchange 120 transmits a call disconnection message (REL) to the second destination exchange 142 corresponding to the unconnected called number.

The outgoing exchange 120 described above with reference to FIG. 3 has been described as processing an ISUP call with a destination exchange according to a TOLL prefix, but is called with a home location register (HLR) for a called number according to the LOCAL prefix. The location of the terminal can be requested. Therefore, the originating exchange 120 may perform call processing according to the call type of each prefix, and then set a call path to the terminal of the called number where the final response signal is received first.

So far, the calling terminal 110 according to an embodiment of the present invention has described a call processing process according to a call connection request to a plurality of called terminals. Hereinafter, an exchanger according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 4.

4 is a diagram illustrating an exchange performing a call connection request to a plurality of destination terminals according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 4, the exchange includes a communication unit 410, a control unit 420, and a called number management unit 430.

The communication unit 410 may be connected to external devices through a communication network to transmit and receive data. The communication unit 410 may be connected to the calling terminal 110, the plurality of destination exchangers 140, the home location register 130, and the ring back tone replacement service server (not shown).

The control unit 420 extracts the representative number from the setup message received from the communication unit 410 and requests the destination group information corresponding to the representative number to the home location register 130. Thereafter, the controller 420 receives the destination group information from the home location register 130. The controller 420 transmits the plurality of called numbers included in the called group information to the called number management unit 430. In addition, the controller 420 generates an initial address message corresponding to each called number, and controls the communication unit 410 to transmit it to each called exchange 140. The control unit 420 informs the destination number management unit 430 of the reception of the setting completion message from each destination exchange 140. In addition, the control unit 420 receives the destination group information including the called number corresponding to the setup completion message from the called number management unit 430. The called group information includes a plurality of called numbers and whether the initial setting completion message has arrived. In addition, the called group information may include a plurality of called numbers transmitted from the calling terminal 110 and whether a setting completion message corresponding to each called number arrives. The controller 420 transmits an alarm message or a progress message to the calling terminal 110 through the communication unit 410 according to whether the initial setting completion message included in the destination group information is provided to provide a ring back tone. The originating exchange 120 may receive a ring back tone from a gateway (not shown) connected to a communication network. In this case, the controller 420 may provide the replacement connection sound to the calling terminal 110 in association with the call connection sound replacement service server.

The called number management unit 430 temporarily stores and manages information corresponding to each called number when a plurality of called numbers are included in the setup message. For example, the called number management unit 430 receives a plurality of called numbers included in the setup message received from the calling terminal 110 from the controller 420 and generates called group information. In addition, when receiving the arrival signal of the setting completion message corresponding to the specific destination number from the control unit 420, the destination number management unit 430 information about whether the arrival of the setting completion message included in the destination group information including the specific destination number; Update the. Afterwards, the called number management unit 430 transmits the called group information to the controller 420 according to a request of the controller 420.

5 is a diagram illustrating a home location register according to an embodiment of the present invention.

Referring to FIG. 5, the home location register 130 includes a transceiver 510, a service database 530, and a query processor 520.

The transceiver 510 may be connected to an external device through a communication network to transmit and receive data. For example, the transceiver 510 is connected to the originating exchange 120 through a communication network to transmit and receive transmission routing information with the originating exchange 120.

The service database 530 sets and stores a representative number and a plurality of called numbers corresponding to the representative number. Accordingly, the service database 530 may search the destination group by using the representative number as a key value. The service database 530 searches for the database according to the destination group request signal corresponding to the specific representative number received from the query processing unit 520 and returns to the query processing unit 520. The service database 530 sets up a called group corresponding to the representative number according to an input of the calling terminal 110 or an input through a portal site connected to the service database 530. In addition, each called number included in the group may represent a group. That is, the representative number and each called number included in the group may represent the entire group.

The query processor 520 receives the transmission routing information from the originating exchange 120 and extracts the representative number included in the transmission routing information. The query processing unit 520 requests a called group corresponding to the representative number extracted to the service database 530. The query processing unit 520 receives the destination group information from the service database 530 and transmits it to the originating exchange 120 through the transceiver 510.

Although the above-described home location register 130 has been described as including a service database 530, the service database 530 may be installed separately from the home location register 130 according to an implementation method, and the home location register 130 may be Call group information may be requested to the service database 530 through a communication network.
