A floating jig for honing a cylindrical bore is provided to hold a processed object firmly to prevent the processed object from being rotated in a honing process and to increase the efficiency of the honing process by cutting down the cost for the honing process. A floating jig for honing a cylindrical bore comprises two housings(10,12), a swivel ring(11), a collet, and a structure fastening end(14). The two housings and the swivel ring are relatively rotated by at least two pins(16,23). The collet and the structure fastening end are mounted at the inner surface of the housing to fasten the outer surface of a honing-processed material firmly.
