Claims (20)
- 고분자 필름을 수처리한 후 열처리하는 단계와; 열처리된 상기 고분자 필름을 접착제층을 이용하여 일방향으로 광 흡수축이 형성된 편광 필름과 부착하는 단계와; 편광 필름의 고분자 필름이 부착되는 면과 반대측의 면에 점착제층을 형성하는 단계;를 포함하여 이루어지되,
상기 고분자 필름의 수처리는, 고분자 필름을 온도가 20℃ 내지 30℃의 물에 침지한 후 10초 내지 20초 동안 유지하여 수행하고,
열처리 전의 고분자 필름은, 제1방향에서의 수축력이 5.5N 내지 15N이고, 제1방향과 수직을 이루는 제2방향에서의 수축력이 0.01N 내지 2N이며,
열처리 전의 고분자 필름은, 제 1 방향에서의 수축력(S1)과 제 2 방향에서의 수축력(S2)의 비율(S1/S2)이 10 이상이고,
상기 고분자 필름의 열처리는, 50 내지 100℃의 온도에서 10초 내지 60초 유지하여 열처리를 수행하며,
열처리 후의 고분자 필름은 제 1 방향에서의 수축력이 5N 내지 10N이고,
열처리 전의 고분자 필름의 제 1 방향에서의 수축력(SB)과 열처리 후의 고분자 필름의 상기 제 1 방향에서의 수축력(SA)의 비율(SB/SA)이 1을 초과하고,
열처리 후의 고분자 필름은, 제 1 방향에서의 수축력(S1)과 상기 제 1 방향과 수직하는 제 2 방향에서의 수축력(S2)의 비율(S1/S2)이 13이상 이며,
상기 고분자 필름의 TD방향과 상기 편광 필름의 MD방향(광 흡수축 방향)이 80도 내지 100도의 범위 내의 각도를 이루도록 고분자 필름과 편광 필름을 부착하며,
편광 필름의 광흡수축 방향의 편광판의 수축력(SP)과 상기 광흡수축 방향과 수직한 방향의 편광판의 수축력(SV)의 비율(SP/SV)이 0.78 내지 1.5이며,
광흡수축 방향과 평행한 방향의 편광 필름의 수축력(SPVA)과 고분자 필름의 제 1 방향에서의 수축력(SPro)의 비율(SPro/SPVA)이 0.1 내지 5이며,
순차적으로 적층되는 상기 고분자 필름, 접착제층, 편광 필름 및 점착제층의 두께(A)가 하기 [수식 1]을 만족하도록 조절하여 편광판을 제조하는 것을 특징으로 하는 편광판의 제조 방법.
[수식 1] A = 3.89 내지 6.34 N·mm = a Х (SPVA Х (T1+b) + SProХ (T2+b))
SPVA는 편광 필름의 광 흡수축 방향의 수축력이고,
SPro는 편광 필름의 광 흡수축 방향과 평행한 방향의 고분자 필름의 수축력과 광흡수축 방향과 수직한 방향의 고분자 필름의 수축력 중 큰 수축력이며,
T1(단위: mm)은 점착제층의 가장 하부에서 편광 필름의 중심까지의 거리이고,
T2(단위: mm)은 점착제층의 가장 하부에서 편광 필름의 두께, 접착제층의 두께 및 고분자 필름의 중심까지의 거리이며,
a는 0.7 내지 1의 범위 내의 수이고,
b(단위: mm)는 0.14 내지 0.4의 범위 내의 수이며 LCD 패널의 두께의 1/2배임. - 삭제
