도 1은 일반적인 원통형 이차 전지의 캡 어셈블리 구성을 도시한 단면도이다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 캡 어셈블리 구성을 도시한 단면도이다.
도 3 및 도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 캡 어셈블리의 탑 캡과 안전 벤트의 구성을 개략적으로 나타내는 상면도들이다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 캡 어셈블리의 탑 캡과 안전 벤트의 접합면을 보여주는 단면도이다.

- 전지 케이스의 개방단에 밀봉 결합되고 탑 캡과 상기 탑 캡의 하부에 위치하는 안전 벤트를 구비한 이차 전지용 캡 어셈블리 제조 방법에 있어서,
상기 안전 벤트는 단부가 상기 탑 캡의 상부에 위치하도록 상기 탑 캡의 가장자리단을 감싸는 밴딩부를 포함하도록 형성하고, 상기 밴딩부가 접하는 상기 탑 캡의 가장자리단에는 단차부를 형성하며,
상기 밴딩부의 두께와 상기 단차부 깊이가 상호 일치하도록 단조 공정을 통해 조절하고,
상기 밴딩부의 안쪽면을 상기 탑 캡의 단차부에 평행하게 안착시켜 레이저 용접에 의해 접합하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지용 캡 어셈블리 제조 방법. - 삭제
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 밴딩부의 두께는 상기 안전 벤트 두께의 20% 내지 50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지용 캡 어셈블리 제조 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 밴딩부는 상기 탑 캡의 둘레를 따라 원주 부분을 일부만 감싸도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 이차 전지용 캡 어셈블리 제조 방법.
