Abstract
Description
도 1은 크라프트 펄프 공장의 화학물질 회수 공정으로부터 배출된 폐탄산칼슘의 SEM 현미경 사진이다.
도 2는 로제트 유사 응집 구조를 가지며 실시예 1에 기술된 종래 기술의 탄산화 공정에 따라 제조된 편삼각면체형 PCC의 SEM 현미경 사진이며;
도 3은 로제트 유사 응집 구조를 가지며 실시예 2에 기술된 공정에 의해 본 발명에 따라 제조된 편삼각면체형 PCC의 SEM 현미경 사진이며;
도 4는 실시예 5에 기술된 공정에 의해 본 발명에 따라 제조된, 코팅에 사용되는 편삼각면체형 PCC의 SEM 현미경 사진이며;
도 5는 본 출원인이 알고 있는 종래 기술의 방법에 따른 공정의 공정 경로를 나타내는 다이아그램이며;
도 6은 본 발명에 따른 방법의 공정 경로를 나타내는 다이아그램이다.
Claims (17)
- 폐기물로부터 회수된 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트로부터의 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물의 제조 방법으로서, 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물은 향상된 휘도를 가지며,
(a) 폐기물로부터 회수된 저순도 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 물질을 제공하는 단계;
(b) 단계 (a)의 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 물질을 하소시켜 2가 금속 이온 옥시드를 수득하는 단계;
(c) 단계 (b)에서 수득된 2가 금속 이온 옥시드를 소화시켜(slaking) 2가 금속 이온 히드록시드의 수성 현탁액을 수득하는 단계;
(d) 단계 (c)에서 수득된 2가 금속 이온 히드록시드의 수성 현탁액을 이산화탄소 함유 화합물로 탄산화하여 미세 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자를 수득하는 단계;
(e) 단계 (d)에서 수득된 미세 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자를 후처리하여 미세 불연속 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자를 수득하는 단계;
(f) 단계 (e)에서 수득된 미세 불연속 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자를 고순도 2가 금속 이온 옥시드의 소화에 의해 수득된 2가 금속 이온 히드록시드의 수성 현탁액과 혼합하여 생성된 반응 혼합물을 수득하는 단계; 및
(g) 단계 (f)의 생성된 반응 혼합물을 탄산화하여 단계 (d)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자와 비교하여 휘도가 향상된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물을 수득하는 단계
를 포함하는 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물의 적어도 일부는 하나 이상의 추가 탄산화 단계로 처리되며, 여기서 먼저 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물의 적어도 일부를 고순도 2가 금속 이온 옥시드의 소화에 의해 수득된 2가 금속 이온 히드록시드의 수성 현탁액과 혼합시켜 생성된 반응 혼합물을 수득하고, 그 후 상기 생성된 반응 혼합물을 탄산화로 처리하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (a)의 저순도 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 물질은 M2+가 Be2+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Sr2+ 및 Ba2+를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 2가 금속 이온인 화학식 M2+C03 2-를 갖는 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (e)의 후처리는 단계 (d)에서 수득된 미세 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자의 기계적 탈응집에 의해 또는 재결정화에 의해 실시되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (e)에서 수득된 미세 불연속 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 > 10 내지 500 nm의 입자 크기 및 5 내지 > 15 m2/g의 비표면적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 ISO 2469에 따라 측정할 경우 ISO 휘도 R457이 88 내지 94%의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 ISO 9277을 이용하여 BET법에 따라 측정할 경우 비표면적이 3 내지 30 m2/g의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 중량 중위 입자 직경 d50이 0.5 내지 7 ㎛의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 단계 (a)의 저순도 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 물질은 탄산칼슘 물질이며, 단계 (g)의 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 생성물은 침전 탄산칼슘인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 침전 카르보네이트는 편삼각면체형 침전 탄산칼슘인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트는 농축되어 고형물 함량이 50% 이상인 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트의 수성 슬러리를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트는 건조되어 건조 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 단계 (a)의 저순도 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 물질은 M2+가 Mg2+ 및 Ca2+를 포함하는 군으로부터 선택되는 2가 금속 이온인 화학식 M2+C03 2-를 갖는 물질인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 단계 (e)에서 수득된 미세 불연속 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 50 내지 200 nm 범위의 입자 크기를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 단계 (e)에서 수득된 미세 불연속 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 20 내지 50 m2/g 범위의 비표면적을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 ISO 9277을 이용하여 BET법에 따라 측정할 경우 비표면적이 5 내지 20 m2/g의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, 단계 (g)에서 수득된 침전 2가 금속 이온 카르보네이트 입자는 중량 중위 입자 직경 d50이 0.8 내지 5 ㎛의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
