Abstract
본 발명에 따르면, 액상의 용매가 존재하는 상태에서 기체, 액체 및/또는 고체 물질을 주입하여 코어에 쉘이 형성되도록 하는 코어-쉘 입자, 바람직하게는 리튬이차전지의 양극 활물질에 사용되는 코어-쉘 입자를 제조하기 위한 장치를 제공한다.
특히, 본 발명은 별도의 코팅공정 없이 하나의 반응기에서 양극 활물질 전구체를 코어 형태로 제조한 후 이를 코팅하여 코어-쉘 입자를 제조할 수 있다.

Claims (8)
- 비 회전체인 길이방향으로 확장된 중공의 실린더; 상기 실린더의 내벽면과 이격되도록 내장된 길이방향으로 확장된 회전체; 상기 회전체의 일측 말단에 연결 설치되어 회전체를 회전시키는 구동부; 상기 실린더의 길이방향을 기준으로 일측 말단 외주면에 실린더 내부와 연통되도록 각각 형성된 제1원료주입구 및 제2원료주입구; 상기 제1원료주입구 및 제2원료주입구에 대향되는 타측 실린더 말단에 실린더 내부와 연통되도록 형성된 배출구; 상기 실린더의 외주면에 형성되어 쉘물질을 실린더 내부로 공급하는 적어도 하나 이상의 쉘물질주입구; 상기 실린더의 외주면과 내주면 사이에 형성되어 열교환물질이 이동하는 경로를 제공하는 열교환물질이동경로; 상기 열교환물질이동경로에 연결 설치되어 열교환물질을 주입하는 열교환물질주입구; 상기 열교환물질이동경로에 연결 설치되어 열교환물질을 배출하는 열교환물질배출구를 포함하는 반응기와;
상기 반응기의 제1원료주입구에 연결 설치된 제1저장부;
상기 반응기의 제2원료주입구에 연결 설치된 제2저장부;
상기 반응기의 배출구에 연결 설치되어 배출구에서 배출되는 생성물을 고체입자와 액체로 분리하는 고액분리부; 및
상기 고액분리부에 연결 설치되어 고액분리부에서 분리된 고체입자를 건조시키는 건조부를 포함하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 열교환물질주입구 및 열교환물질배출구 사이에 열교환물질을 순환시킬 수 있는 순환펌프가 더 연결설치된 것을 포함하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1저장부와 제1원료주입구 및 제2저장부와 제2원료주입구 사이에 각각 제1펌프 및 제2펌프가 연결설치된 것을 포함하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 구동부는 1 rpm 이상으로 회전속도를 조절할 수 있는 변속형 교반모터인 코어-쉘 입자 제조장치.
- 비 회전체인 길이방향으로 확장된 중공의 실린더의 내벽면과 이격되도록 내장된 길이방향으로 확장된 회전체 사이에 버퍼용액을 채운 뒤 공기를 외부로 배출시키는 버퍼용액 충진단계;
상기 버퍼용액 충진단계가 종료된 후 상기 회전체를 회전시키는 회전체 회전단계;
상기 회전체가 회전하는 실린더 내부로 코어를 형성하는 물질이 저장된 제1저장부 및 제2저장부의 원료를 공급하여 코어-쉘 전구체를 형성하는 전구체 형성단계;
상기 코어 형태의 전구체가 형성되는 실린더 내부로 코어를 코팅하는 쉘물질을 공급하는 쉘물질 주입단계;
상기 쉘물질 주입으로 인해 형성된 코어-쉘 입자를 포함하는 액체를 고액분리하는 고액분리단계; 및
상기 고액분리단계를 통해 수득된 코어-쉘 입자를 건조시키는 건조단계를 포함하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조방법. - 제5항에 있어서,
상기 고액분리단계에서 분리되는 코어-쉘 입자를 포함하는 액체는 반응기 내부의 반응물이 정상상태에 도달한 것을 사용하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,
제1저장부 및 제2저장부에는 각각 염화리튬 및 탄산나트륨; 또는 리튬하이드록사이드 및 이산화탄소; 또는 알루미늄카보네이트 및 황산구리를 한 쌍으로 하여 각각 저장된 것을 포함하는 코어-쉘 입자 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,
상기 쉘물질은 구리, 코발트 또는 망간을 포함하는 무기금속; 또는 폴리에틸렌 글리콜, 폴리에틸렌 옥사이드, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 메틸 에테르, 폴리에틸렌 글리콜 디메틸 에테르, 폴리 프로필렌 옥사이드, 폴리에틸렌, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리이소부틸렌, 및 폴리염화비닐리덴로 구성된 군에서 선택된 고분자 또는 올리고머인 코어-쉘 입자 제조방법.
