Claims (4)
- 미립자 필터와 배기 가스 통로를 통해 유동하는 배기 가스의 일부를 엔진의 흡입 공기 통로로 도입하기 위한 EGR(배기 가스 재순환) 도관 및 EGR 도관의 밸브 개방도를 제어하기 위한 EGR 밸브가 설치된 EGR 시스템을 갖춘 엔진이며,상기 엔진은 엔진의 실린더 내의 흡기 통로 내의 배기 가스 일부가 실린더로 다시 유입하는 것을 허용하기 위해 하나 이상의 배기 밸브가 흡입 행정에서 약간 상승되게 함으로써 배기 밸브 보조 상승(sub-lift)식 내부 EGR이 수행되도록 구성되고,미립자 필터의 입구와 출구 사이에서의 배기 가스 차압을 검출하는 수단 및 내부 EGR의 EGR 비율의 기준값에 상당하는 미립자 필터의 입구와 출구 사이에서의 배기 가스 차압의 기준값이 설정되어 있고, 검출된 미립자 필터의 입구와 출구 사이에서의 배기 가스 차압과 미립자 필터의 입구와 출구 사이에서의 배기 가스 차압의 기준값 사이의 차압 편차에 기초하여 EGR 조정량이 산출되며, 산출된 EGR 조정량에 따라 EGR 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 제어하는 제어기가 제공되는 EGR 시스템을 갖춘 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 EGR 제어기는 산출된 EGR 조정량에 상당하는 양만큼 EGR 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 증가시키도록 제어하는 EGR 시스템을 갖춘 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 EGR 제어기는 EGR 조정량에 따라 공기 공급 유량을 제어하는 스로틀 밸브의 밸브 개방도 및 EGR 밸브의 밸브 개방도를 제어하는 EGR 시 스템을 갖춘 엔진.
- 제1항에 있어서, 저온 EGR 도관 및 고온 EGR 도관이 상기 배기 가스 통로와 흡입 공기 통로 사이에 서로 평행하게 제공되고, 상기 저온 EGR 도관을 통해 유동하는 배기 가스를 냉각하기 위한 EGR 냉각기 및 저온 EGR 밸브가 상기 저온 EGR 도관에 제공되고, 고온 EGR 도관 밸브가 상기 고온 EGR 도관에 제공됨으로써, 고온 EGR 밸브의 밸브 개방도가 EGR 제어기에 의해 제어되는 EGR 시스템을 갖춘 엔진.
