Claims (20)
- 서로 직교하는 제1 및 제2 방향에서 다른 해상도로 기록액의 방울을 이용하여 복수의 도트로 이루어지는 화상을 형성하는 화상 형성 장치로 출력하기 위한 화상 데이터를 생성하는 화상 처리 방법에 있어서,상기 제1 방향의 해상도에 따른 도트 수가 "m"이고, 상기 제2 방향의 해상도에 따른 도트 수가 "n"인 "m×n" 도트 윈도를 이용하여 화상 데이터를 얻는 단계;상기 윈도 내에서 상기 얻어진 화상 데이터를 상기 윈도의 사이즈와 동일한 크기를 가지는 참조 패턴과 매칭하여, 상기 얻어진 화상 데이터로부터 상기 윈도 내의 도트보다 작은, 작은 크기의 도트로 변환대상이 되는 하나 이상의 도트를 검출하는 단계; 및상기 검출된 하나 이상의 도트를 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환하는 단계;를 포함하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환대상이 되는 검출된 도트는 상기 화상의 공백부의 도트이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환대상이 되는 하나 이상의 도트는 상기 화상의 복수의 공백부의 도트들이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환대상이 되는 검출된 도트는 상기 화상의 화상부의 도트이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는 상기 화상의 화상부의 복수의 도트들이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 작은 크기의 도트는 복수 종류의 작은 도트 크기들로부터 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는, 경사부가 상기 윈도와 상기 참조 패턴의 패턴 매칭으로 얻어진 상기 화상의 윤곽부의 경사가 1/1 경사보다 작은 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되고, 1/1 이상의 경사인 경우에 변환되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는, 상기 화상의 도트의 색이 옐로우 또는 마젠타의 단색인 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되지 않고, 옐로우 또는 마젠타의 단색 이외의 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화상이 문자 화상인 때에는 상기 문자 화상의 계단 모양 변화부 주변의 하나 이상의 도트는, 상기 문자 화상의 폰트 크기가 50폰트보다 큰 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되지 않고, 50폰트 이하의 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화상의 계단 모양 변화부 주변의 하나 이상의 도트는, 상기 제1의 방향의 해상도 및 제2의 방향의 해상도가 600dpi 이상인 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되지 않고, 상기 제1의 방향의 해상도와 제2의 방향의 해상도 중 어느 하나가 600dpi보다 작은 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 서로 직교하는 제1 및 제2 방향에서 다른 해상도로 기록액의 방울을 이용하여 복수의 도트로 이루어지는 화상을 형성하는 화상 형성 장치로 출력하기 위한 화상 데이터를 생성하는 화상 형성 장치에 있어서,상기 제1 방향의 해상도에 따른 도트 수가 "m"이고, 상기 제2 방향의 해상도에 따른 도트 수가 "n"인 "m×n" 도트 윈도를 이용하여 화상 데이터를 얻는 수득 유닛;상기 윈도 내에서 상기 얻어진 화상 데이터를 상기 윈도의 사이즈와 동일한 크기를 가지는 참조 패턴과 매칭하여, 상기 얻어진 화상 데이터로부터 상기 윈도 내의 도트보다 작은, 작은 크기의 도트로 변환대상이 되는 하나 이상의 도트를 검출하는 검출 유닛; 및상기 검출된 하나 이상의 도트를 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환하는 변환 유닛;을 포함하는 화상 처리 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 도트는 상기 화상의 하나의 공백부의 도트이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는 상기 화상의 복수의 공백부의 도트들이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 도트는 상기 화상의 화상부의 도트이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는 상기 화상의 복수의 화상부의 도트들이며, 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서,상기 변환 대상이 되는 검출된 하나 이상의 도트는, 경사부가 상기 윈도와 상기 참조 패턴의 패턴 매칭으로 얻어진 상기 화상의 윤곽부의 경사가 1/1 경사보다 작은 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되고, 1/1 이상의 경사인 경우에 변환되지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.

- 제11항에 있어서,상기 화상의 계단 모양 변화부 주변의 하나 이상의 도트는, 상기 제1의 방향의 해상도 및 제2의 방향의 해상도가 600dpi 이상인 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되지 않고, 상기 제1의 방향의 해상도와 제2의 방향의 해상도 중 어느 하나가 600dpi보다 작은 경우에 상기 작은 크기의 도트로 변환되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 기재된 화상 처리 방법을 컴퓨터가 실행하게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프로그램을 기록한 기록매체.
