Description
Claims (25)
- 액추에이터로서 설치된 압전 소자에 인가되는 전압 변화에 따라서 액적 이젝터의 압력실의 용적을 확대 축소시킴으로써, 액적 이젝터로부터 액적을 토출하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법으로서,소정 전압을 인가하여 압전 소자를 충전하고, 상기 소정 전압으로 충전된 상기 압전 소자를 상기 압전 소자와 병렬 접속되는 방전 요소에 의해 방전하며,상기 압전 소자 및 상기 방전 요소에 직렬 접속되는 제 1 스위칭 소자의 온·오프에 의해서 상기 압전 소자의 충전 및 방전을 제어하고,상기 압전 소자를 상기 소정 전압으로 충전할 때 충전 개시시의 상기 압전 소자의 단자 전압과 충전시의 상기 압전 소자의 단자 전압과의 전위차에 의해서 액적 이젝터의 상기 압력실을 수축시켜서, 상기 액적 이젝터로부터 상기 전위차에 따른 토출 액적량의 액적을 토출할 때에, 상기 전위차가 얻어지도록 상기 압전 소자의 방전 시간을 제어하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,소정의 타이밍에서 상기 압전 소자를 충전할 때에, 상기 전위차가 원하는 전위차가 되도록 상기 방전 요소에 의한 방전 개시의 타이밍을 제어하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,소정의 타이밍에서 상기 압전 소자를 충전할 때에, 상기 전위차가 원하는 전위차가 되도록 상기 방전 요소에 의한 방전을 정지하는 타이밍을 제어하는 액적 토출 헤드의 구동 방법.

- 액적 이젝터에 액추에이터로서 설치되고, 인가되는 전압 변화에 따라서 액적 이젝터의 압력실 내를 확대 축소시킴으로써, 액적 이젝터로부터 액적을 토출 가능하게 하는 압전 소자의 구동 회로로서,상기 압전 소자에 인가하는 소정 전압의 전력을 출력하는 전원과,상기 압전 소자에 병렬 접속된 방전 요소와,병렬 접속된 상기 압전 소자 및 상기 방전 요소와 상기 전원의 사이에 설치 되어 입력되는 제 1 조작 신호에 따라서 개폐되는 제 1 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 압전 소자의 구동 회로.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,상기 방전 요소에 대해서 직렬 접속되고, 입력되는 제 2 조작 신호에 따라서 개폐되는 제 2 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 압전 소자의 구동 회로.
- 제 13 항에 있어서,상기 방전 요소가 상기 압전 소자의 정전 용량에 의거하여 설정된 저항값의 저항인 압전 소자의 구동 회로.
- 제 14 항에 있어서,상기 방전 요소가 상기 압전 소자의 정전 용량에 의거하여 설정된 저항값의 저항인 압전 소자의 구동 회로.
- 압전 소자에 인가되는 전압 변화에 따라서 압력실이 확대 축소됨으로써 상기 압력실에 연통하는 노즐로부터 액적을 토출하는 액적 이젝터와,상기 압전 소자의 구동용으로 하는 소정 전압의 전력을 출력하는 전원과,상기 전원과 상기 압전 소자 사이에 설치된 제 1 스위칭 소자를 포함하고, 상기 전원으로부터 출력되는 전력에 의해서 상기 압전 소자를 상기 소정 전압으로 충전하는 충전 유닛과,상기 압전 소자와 병렬 접속되는 소정 저항값의 저항을 포함하고, 상기 충전 유닛에 의해서 상기 소정 전압으로 충전된 상기 압전 소자를 방전하는 방전 유닛과,상기 충전 유닛 및 상기 방전 유닛에 의한 상기 압전 소자의 충전 및 방전을 제어하고, 방전 유닛에 의한 방전이 개시된 상기 압전 소자를 충전 유닛에 의해서 충전하는 것에 의한 단자 전압의 변화로 압전 소자를 구동하는 구동 제어 유닛을 포함하고,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자의 온·오프에 의해서 상기 압전 소자에의 충전 및, 압전 소자로부터의 방전을 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 17 항에 있어서,상기 방전 유닛에 의한 상기 압전 소자로부터의 방전을 제한하는 방전 제한 유닛을 더 포함하고, 상기 구동 제어 유닛이 상기 방전 제한 유닛의 작동을 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.

- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 상기 압전 소자의 정전 용량, 상기 저항의 저항값 및 상기 액적 이젝터로부터의 토출 액적량에 따라서 설정된 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자의 오프 시간에 의거하여, 제 1 스위칭 소자의 작동을 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 18 항에 있어서,상기 방전 유닛은 상기 저항과 직렬 접속된 제 2 스위칭 소자를 포함하고,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 상기 제 2 스위칭 소자를 오프함으로써, 상기 압전 소자로부터의 방전을 정지하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 22 항에 있어서,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자의 작동에 의해서 방전 개시 및 충전 개시 타이밍을 제어하는 동시에,상기 압전 소자의 정전 용량, 상기 저항의 저항값 및 상기 액적 이젝터로부터의 토출 액적량에 따라서 상기 제 2 스위칭 소자의 작동을 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 21 항에 있어서,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 소정의 타이밍에서 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자를 오프로부터 온으로 전환하도록 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.
- 제 23 항에 있어서,상기 구동 제어 유닛은 소정의 타이밍에서 상기 제 1 스위칭 소자를 오프로부터 온으로 전환하도록 제어하는 액적 토출 장치.
