Abstract

An apparatus for removing burr on an upper portion of a strip cut surface is provided to prevent the generation of defective qualities due to the burr generated on the upper portion by eliminating burr generated on a cut surface, particularly, burr generated on an upper portion of the cut surface in real-time when cutting both a central part and edge parts of a strip. An apparatus for removing burr on an upper portion of a strip cut surface comprises: an edge part cutter for cutting both end portions of a strip(S) that is continuously proceeded; lower burr removing rolls(20) installed in rear of the edge part cutter to remove burr generated on a lower portion of edge parts of the strip that have been cut by the edge part cutter; a central part cutter(30) for cutting a central part of the strip; and an upper burr removing roll(40) installed on an upper surface of the strip to remove burr generated on an upper portion of the central part of the strip that has been cut by the central part cutter. The apparatus further comprises a cylinder(31) installed on the central part cutter to adjust a cutting force of the central part cutter. The upper burr removing roll is rotatably installed by means of a link(41).
