Abstract

A refrigerator and a control method thereof are provided to supply water or ice alternatively from a dispenser according to a pressing time of a switch without opening a door. A refrigerator includes a dispenser(30) having a switch(33) for withdrawing one of water or ice according to a pressing time thereof. The dispenser has an operation lever(34) rotatively mounted for pressing the switch while rotating. Since water or ice is selectively dispensed according to pressing time of the switch, selecting between and ice becomes easier.
