Abstract
Description
적합한 발광 물질로는 (Sr,Ca)2SiO4:Eu2+, Ba2SiO4:Eu2+, SrGa2S4, ZnS:Cu+, ZnS:Au+, ZnS:Al3+, (Zn,Cd)S:Ag+, CaS:Ce3+가 있다. 상기 물질들은 450㎚에서 비교적 높은 양자 효율과 광 흡수성을 갖는다. 이 물질들은 또한 적색광이 원하는 녹색광으로 변환될 때 상대적으로 매우 높은 루멘 당량을 나타낸다.
또한, 조명 시스템의 색 온도(color temperature)를 변경시킬 수 있는 것이 바람직하다. 본 발명에 따른 조명 시스템의 다른 실시예는 발광 다이오드들을 개별적으로 구동시키는 것에 의해 조명 시스템의 색 온도를 조정할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다. 색 온도는 LED들을 개별적으로 구동시킴으로서 (전기적으로) 조정 가능하다. 이러한 조정 소자(adjusting element)의 적절한 실시예는 적색 LED와 청색 LED로 이루어진 제 1 다이오드 체인과 단색의 청색(또는 단색의 적색) LED로 이루어진 제 2 다이오드 체인을 포함한다. 이러한 조정 소자의 보다 더 적절한 실시예는 청색과 녹색 LED로 이루어진 제 1 다이오드 체인과 단색의 청색(또는 단색의 녹색) LED로 이루어진 제 2 다이오드 체인을 포함한다. 이러한 결과로, 2000∼6300K의 조정 가능한 색 온도 범위가 획득된다. 이러한 색 온도 조정은 부분적으로 발광 물질(변환 수단)의 양에 의해 결정된다.
