Claims (8)
- 복수의 표시소자와;상기 복수의 표시소자를 구동하는 매트릭스배선을 구성하는 복수의 주사배선과;상기 복수의 표시소자를 구동하는 매트릭스배선을 구성하는 복수의 변조배선과;상기 주사배선에 주사신호를 인가하는 회로로서, 주사신호를 인가하는 상기 주사배선을 순차 전환하는 주사회로와;소정의 리프레시레이트Fa[Hz]를 가지는 입력화상신호에 의거하여, 주파수 Fa[Hz]보다 높은 주파수 Fb[Hz]를 표시리프레시레이트로서 스크린표시를 행하는 화상신호를 생성하는 화상신호생성회로와,상기 주사신호가 인가된 주사배선에 접속되는 상기 표시소자에, 상기 화상신호에 의거하는 변조신호를, 상기 변조배선을 통하여 인가하는 변조회로를 구비하는 화상표시장치로서,상기 주사회로는, 요구휘도에 따라서, 1행씩 주사배선을 선택하는 제1주사조건과 인접한 복수의 주사배선을 동시 선택하는 제2주사조건을 전환가능하며,상기 제2주사조건에서는, 상기 주사신호를 인가하는 주사배선을 선택기간마다 전환하는 주파수가, n(n≥2)를 주사하는 주사배선의 수로 하고, Tb를 1표시리프레시기간에 있어서의 비표시기간으로 하면, n/((1/Fb) - Tb)보다 작게 되도록, 하나의 상기 선택기간에 있어서 복수의 주사배선에 주사신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,주사조건결정부를 부가하여 구비하고,상기 주사회로는 상기 주사조건결정부로부터의 지시신호에 의거하여 화상표시를 행하는 주사방법을 변경할 수 있도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,상기 주사조건결정부로부터의 지시신호에 응답하여 상기 화상신호생성회로가 상기 변조회로에 공급하는 화상신호는, 상기 주사조건결정부에 의해 결정된 주사방법에 적합하도록 생성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,표시휘도의 소망치를 생성하는 회로와,상기 표시휘도의 소망치에 의거하여, 상기 주사조건결정부가 1프레임기간을 복수의 기간으로 분할하는 경우의 서브프레임의 수와, 서브프레임기간마다의 1주사단위로 선택된 주사배선의 수와, 각각의 주사단위의 주사영역을 결정하는 회로를 부가하여 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서,입력화상신호의 종류를 판별하는 입력신호판별부와;표시휘도의 소망치를 생성하는 회로와;상기 입력신호판별부로부터의 판별신호와 상기 표시휘도의 소망치에 의거하여, 상기 주사조건결정부가 1프레임기간을 복수의 기간으로 분할하는 경우의 서브프레임의 수와, 서브프레임기간마다의 1주사단위로 선택된 주사배선의 수와, 각각의 주사단위의 주사위치를 결정하는 회로를 부가하여 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 주사배선에 인가되는 주사전위를 변경시키는 회로와;적어도 상기 주사전위를 변경시킴으로써 표시휘도제어를 행하는 회로를 부가하여 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,연속적인 두개의 선택기간 중 선행의 선택기간에서 상기 주사회로에 의해 주사신호가 인가되는 적어도 하나의 주사배선이 선행의 주사배선으로서 설정되고, 연속적인 두개의 선택기간 중 다음의 선택기간에서 상기 주사회로에 의해 주사신호가 인가되는 적어도 하나의 주사배선을 다음의 주사배선으로 설정하는 경우,적어도 하나의 상기 주사배선 중 상기 다음의 주사배선으로부터 가장 떨어진 선행의 주사배선과 적어도 하나의 상기 다음의 주사배선 중 상기 선행의 주사배선에 가장 근접한 다음의 주사배선 사이에, 적어도 하나의 주사배선이 배치되도록 상기 주사를 행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 화상표시장치.
