Claims (13)
- 수산화니켈 또는 주성분이 수산화니켈인 모입자(母粒子)와, 상기 모입자 표면의 일부 또는 전부를 피복하는 코발트화합물층을 가진 피복 Ni 활물질이 충전되어 이루어진 비소결니켈전극으로 이루어지는 양극과,수소를 흡장 방출할 수 있는 수소흡장합금이 충전되어 이루어진 금속수소화물전극으로 이루어지는 음극과,알카리수용액으로 이루어지는 전해액을 가지며,초기 충방전 후에 있어서의 상기 양극의 미반응용량율(양극미반응용량율은 식 1로 정의된)이 16% 이하이며,또한, 초기 충방전 후에 있어서의 음극충전심도(음극충전심도는 하기 식 2로 정의된다)가 80% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지.[식 1][식 2]
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 코발트화합물층의 코발트화합물의 평균가수는 2가 보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 식 2에 있어서의 음극잔존용량이 전지실동용량의 40% 이하이며, 또한 상기 수소흡장합금이 산성수용액에 의해 표면처리한 수소흡장합금인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 코발트화합물층의 코발트화합물의 평균가수는 2가 보다 큰 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지.
- 수산화니켈 또는 주성분이 수산화니켈인 모입자를 코발트화합물을 함유한 용액에 분산하고, 이 분산액에 알카리용액을 첨가하여 분산액 pH 을 조정함으로써 코발트화합물을 석출시켜서, 상기 모입자를 코발트화합물로 피복하여 피복입자를 제작하는 제1스텝과,상기 피복 Ni 활물질에 알카리금속용액을 함침하여 산소존재하에서 가열처리하여 피복 Ni 활물질을 이루는 제2스텝과,제2스텝에서 가열처리한 피복 Ni 활물질을 사용하여, 다음 식 1로 정의되는 양극의 미반응용량율이 16% 이하의 비소결니켈양극을 제작하는 제3스텝과,상기 비소결니켈양극과, 수소흡장합금이 채워진 금속수소화물음극과, 알카리전해액을 사용하여, 다음 식 2로 정의되는 초기충방전 후에 있어서의 음극충전심도가 80% 이하로 규제된 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지를 구성하는 제4스텝,을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법[식 1][식 2]
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝의 가열처리에 의해 코발트화합물층을 형성하는 코발트화합물의 평균가수를 2가 보다 크게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝에 있어서의 알카리농도가 15 ∼ 40중량% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝에 있어서의 가열처리시의 온도가 50 ∼ 150℃ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 식 2에 있어서의 음극잔존용량이 전지실동용량의 40% 이하인 경우에 있어서는 상기 수소흡장합금으로서 산성수용액에 의해 표면처리한 수소흡장합금을 사용한 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 산성수용액의 pH 값이 0.5 ∼ 3.5 인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝의 가열처리에 의해 코발트화합물층을 형성하는 코발트화합물의 평균가수를 2가 보다 크게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝에 있어서의 알카리농도가 15 ∼ 40중량% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
- 제12항에 있어서, 상기 제2스텝에 있어서의 열처리시의 온도가 50 ∼ 150℃ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 니켈-금속수소화물 축전지 제조방법.
