本発明は、窯業材料にて横断面L形でかつ中空
状に押出成形したコーナー本体1に角柱2の直角
コーナー部に当接し得る内面3を形成し、コーナ
ー本体1にその内面3とほぼ面一面にコーナー本
体1に比べて厚さの薄い中空状の袖部4を側方に
延出し、この中空状の袖部4内に中空部を横切る
リブ16を形成し、袖部4とコーナー本体1との
境に外装板5の側端部を入り込ませ得る段部7を
形成し、袖部4の前面の上記リブ16が形成され
た箇所に縦水切溝8を形成し、コーナー本体1の
側端がわであつて外装板5との当接面に外装板5
の側端面に形成した突出縦片14を嵌入させるこ
とができる縦凹溝13を形成してあることを特徴

出成形することによつて、直線を容易に出すこと

部を一体成形することによつて、スペーサ機能を
有する縦胴縁の施工を省くことができ、そのうえ
コーナー本体と縦胴縁としての袖部との雨仕舞を
確実にでき、更に袖部の前面に縦水切溝を設ける
ことによつて、外装板と袖部とが当接する箇所に
おいて雨水が毛細管現象で浸入するのを抑制で
き、しかも軽量化を図りながら特に袖部の強度を
弱めることなく縦水切溝を形成できる外装コーナ

料の〓合物を所定の断面形状の口金から押出すと
ともに保形を行ない、そして加熱し養生して得ら
れるものである。そしてコーナー本体1は木工の
こで適宜の長さに切断できるものである。コーナ
ー本体1は角柱2の直角コーナー部外面に当接す
ることができる内面3と、この内面3とほぼ平行
な外面9を有している。更にL形のコーナー本体
1の両側端にはコーナー本体1の内面3とほぼ面
一面に袖部4を隣接間柱(図面せず)方向に延出
して一体形成してある。袖部4の厚さaは横胴縁
10の厚さbにほぼ等しくしてある。しかして袖
部4の前方に外装板5の側端部6が入り込む段部
7を形成してある。袖部4の側部先端には横胴縁
10の側端面11を当接させることができる横胴
縁当接面12を形成してある。この横胴縁当接面
12はコーナー本体1の内面3に対してほぼ直角
に形成してある。又袖部4の前方の段部7に臨ん
でいてコーナー本体1の側端には間柱方向に開口
した縦凹溝13を形成してある。更に袖部4の前
面には2本の縦水切溝8を設けてある。しかして
図面に示すように、角柱2にコーナー本体1を釘
止めし、横胴縁10の側端面11をコーナー本体
1の袖部4の横胴縁10を角柱2及び間柱に釘止
めする。一方外装板5の側端部には突出縦片14
を設けてある。そしてこの突出縦片14をコーナ
ー本体1の縦凹溝13間にコーキング材15を介
して嵌入させて外装板5をコーナー本体1に嵌入
接続させてある。そして外装板5を横胴縁10に
釘打などにより取付けてある。かかる場合、袖部
4の前方の段部7に外装板5の側端部6が入り込
んで外装板5の内側面が袖部4の外面に当接して
いる。しかしてこの袖部4を縦胴縁とすることが
でき、縦胴縁の施工を省いてある。そして外装板
5の突出縦片14がコーナー本体1の縦凹溝13
に嵌入していてその雨仕舞を確実にしてある。更
に袖部4に設けた縦水切溝8によつて袖部4と外
装板5が当接している箇所での毛細管現象を防止
して雨水が浸入するのを抑制している。又コーナ
ー本体1及び袖部4は中抜き状にしてあり、その
リブ16により強度を高めてある。そして縦水切
溝8は袖部4の上記リブ16を形成した箇所に凹
設して、袖部4の強度を弱めないようにしてあ

のうえコーナー本体と袖部とは一体成形してある
から、この両者間での雨仕舞に問題がなく、更に
袖部の前面に縦水切溝を設けてあるから、外装板
と袖部とが当接する箇所において雨水が毛細管現
象で浸入するのを抑制できる。しかも袖部の前面
に縦水切溝を形成し、コーナー本体の側端がわで
あつて外装板との当接面に外装板の側端面に形成
した突出縦片を嵌入させることができる縦凹溝を
形成してあるから、外装板を袖部の前面に当接す
るとともに外装板の突出縦片を縦凹溝に嵌入して
接続した場合には、外装板を袖部材の前面に当接
させることと突出縦片を縦凹溝に嵌入させること
で安定的な面接状態で接続ができながら、縦水切
溝による水切り効果に加えて突出縦片を縦凹溝に
嵌入することにより水切り効果の相乗で、つまり
縦水切溝による毛細管現象を断つ作用と突出縦片
を縦凹溝に嵌入することによる水の伝い込み経路
の増大化によつて水切り効果を大幅に高めること
ができるという利点がある。しかもコーナー本体
が窯業材料にて中空状に押出成形してあるから、
外装コーナー部材として窯業材料にて重量感を発
揮させながら中空状にて窯業製品が有している大
重量となる欠点を解消して軽量化を図ることがで
き、加えて押出成形故、袖部の前面に形成される
縦水切溝並びに外装板の突出縦片を嵌入させるこ
とができる縦凹溝の形成も精度高く、簡単容易に
形成することができるという利点がある。その
上、コーナー本体を中空にするとともに袖部をも
中空にすることによつて、コーナー部材の大幅な
軽量化を図るものでありながら、このようにコー
ナー本体に比べて内外寸法が小となる袖部を中空
にし、その前面に縦水切溝を形成するときに、中
空で内外寸法の小なる袖部が強度的に弱くなると
いう問題を、袖部の前面の上記リブが形成された
箇所に縦水切溝を形成することによつて解消し、
袖部における強度の問題を軽量化を図りながら解
