Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive reception system where installation work is simplified with the use of only one coaxial cable by mixing each system TV signal outdoor and receiving the signal indoor through a transmission line and forming the image via a BS tuner or a power supply device. CONSTITUTION:A part of an AC from a power circuit 13g is fed to a BS tuner 13 and the remaining signal is converted into a DC (solid lines) by a rectifier circuit 13h and fed to the constant voltage circuit 5f of the BS converter 5 via a transmission line 19. On the other hand, the AC from a power supply circuit 12d is converted into a DC (dotted lines) at a rectifier circuit 12e and fed to a constant voltage circuit 3g through the transmission line 19. An SHF signal from a satellite is converted into an intermediate frequency by the converter 5. A ground broadcast signal in VHF or UHF is amplified and mixed with the intermediate frequency by a mixer 6, drawn indoor through the line 19 and branched by a branching device 9. The intermediate frequency by way of the BS tuner and the TV signal of VHF/UHF by way of the power supply device 12 and the tuner 13 are both mixed at an RF modulation circuit 16 and fed to an AV television set 18.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The conventional television broadcast receiving system described above has the following problems. That is, since multiple coaxial cables are required to bring signals from outdoors to indoors, the cost is high and the installation work is troublesome. Therefore, an attempt was made to mix the above signals outdoors using a mixer and connect them with a single coaxial cable, but this made it difficult to supply power from indoors to outdoors, so vHF-? Even if the UHF signal level was weak and I wanted to amplify it or convert UHF to VHF, I had no choice but to give up.
