室の容積が減少して液体塗料が加圧されたときに
開弁して吐出し、逆に減圧したときに閉弁して逆
流を阻止するチエツクバルブがスプレイガンに連
通する吐出路に介設されるのであるが、従来のエ
アレス塗装用ダイアフラムポンプにおいては、吐
出路に設けた弁座に鋼球からなる弁体をばねで押
し付けたボール式のチエツクバルブが使用されて
ており、このタイプのチエツクバルブは、弁体に
高い真円度が要求されるため高価になり、ユニツ
ト化し難いため組み付けに時間を要し、かつ、応
答性が悪いため吐出圧力の脈動が大きいという欠

が小さく、また、弁本体内にチエツクバルブの全
部品が納められてユニツト化されているため、組
み付けが容易になり、さらには、弁頭21のシー
ト面21aが円錐形をなすから精密な加工が容易

とともに、該弁体と前記ホルダとの間にばねを装
着して前記弁頭を前記弁座に当接させる方向に付
勢する構造としたことを要旨とするものであつ
て、吐出圧力の脈動が小さく、塗料を安定して供
給することができるとともに、製造が容易で安価
