〔概要〕
本発明は像保持体上に形成したトナー像を中間転写体を
介して記録体に転写定着させる装置において、中間転写
体をベルト状にしたポリアミド繊維織布の基材にシリコ
ーンゴムの転写層を設けた構造とすることによシ、可撓
性、耐久性、生産性に優れた中間転写体としたものであ

を縦糸(搬送方向に平行)、ノーメックス21を横糸に
して織ってもよい。この場合、両者の特長を生かし、強
度保持率が高くて熱収縮が少ない基材が得られる。また
、ケプラー20とノーメックス21の混紡を使用しても

ト化が答易であることから、耐久性、生産性に優れた中
