、一端が上記サージタンクに、他端が排気系に開
口し排気ガスの一部を吸気系に還流する排気ガス
還流通路とを備えた多気筒エンジンの排気ガス還
流装置において、上記サージタンクにおける排気
ガス還流通路の開口部を吸気の流れの上流から下
流に向かつて順次複数形成するとともにサージタ
ンク上流側に位置する開口部からの排気ガス還流
量をサージタンク下流側に位置する開口部からの
排気ガス還流量よりも多くなるように構成したこ
とを特徴とする多気筒エンジンの排気ガス還流装
