【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は切断屑を収納する集屑ケースを備えた
電動丸鋸機に関するものである。

断屑6を丸鋸刃5の回転に伴なつて屑導入口7よ
り集屑ケース5内へ導入し、集屑ケース5内に切
断屑6を溜めるものである。そして、集屑ケース
5内に充満された切断屑6はその後、集屑ケース
5の後部に設けた屑排出口8から蓋9を外して排
出するものである。しかし乍ら、屑排出口8が集
屑ケース5の後部に設けられているために屑排出
口8の開口寸法を集屑ケース5の後端面の面積以
上に大きくとることができず、従つて切断屑6の
排出に長時間かかり作業能率が悪いという問題が
あつた。また、他の従来例としては実公昭52−
28225号公報に記載されているようなものがあ
る。この実公昭52−28225号公報にあつては、本
体ハウジングの側面に丸鋸刃の空気流と駆動部冷
却風との合流した排気口を設け、この排気口に本
体ハウジングより側方に突出するように集塵袋を
装着するようにしたものである。かかる場合に
は、丸鋸刃によつて切断された切断屑を集塵する
集塵袋を本体ハウジングより側方に突出している
ため、丸鋸機の持ち運びや作業中において、集塵
袋が他に当たつて外れたり、破損したりするとい
う問題があつた。

取付けてある。集屑ケース4の下面には鋸刃突出
口が穿設され、集屑ケース4の下部に取付けられ
た丸鋸刃5の一部が鋸刃突出口からベース10の
下面へ突出してある。すなわち、本体ハウジング
3は丸鋸刃5の覆いと集屑ケース4とを兼ねてい
るものである。従つて、集屑ケース4は本体ハウ
ジング3内に形成されるため、本体ハウジング3
の外側に突出して別途形成されるものではない。
本体ハウジング3の切断方向(第2図中A矢印方
向)側にて集屑ケース4の前面側下部には屑導入
口7が開口してあり、木材や石材等の被切断物が
丸鋸刃5の回転で切断された際に出きる切断屑6
を丸鋸刃5の作用でこの屑導入口7から集屑ケー
ス4内に導入できるようにしてある。集屑ケース
4の本体ハウジング3と反対側、つまり丸鋸刃5
の側面と直交する方向の側面には屑排出口8が形
成してあり、この屑排出口8の開口上縁の集屑ケ
ース4には第5図及び第6図に示すように蓋9が
ヒンジ11にて上下回動自在に枢着してある。蓋
9の周縁の内面側には弾性材12が全周に亘つて
取付けてあり、蓋9を屑排出口8に閉じた際に屑
排出口8周縁の外面側に突設した突起13に弾性
材12が圧接して気密性良く屑排出口8を蓋9で
閉じることができるようにしてある。また、屑排
出口8の開口縁の下部にはマグネツト14が埋め
込んであり、このマグネツト14の吸引力で金属
製の蓋9を吸引して蓋9を閉じることができるよ
うにしてある。図中2は本体ハウジング3の上部
に形成された把手、15はモータ1と接続された
電気コード、16は安全カバーである。

9を回動させて屑排出口8を開け、屑排出口8よ
り切断屑6を排出するものである。ここで、屑排
出口8は本体ハウジング3の側面、すなわち本体
ハウジング3の把手2を右手で持つて丸鋸機を操
作した際に使用者とは反対の面に屑排出口8が形
成されているために、切断屑6の排出時に使用者
に切断屑6がかかつて汚れるということがないも
のである。また、蓋9はマグネツト14の吸引力
で簡単に開閉することができるようにしてあり、
蓋9をワンタツチで開閉することができて切断屑
6の取出しが容易なものである。

出口に開閉自在な蓋を枢着したものであるから、
屑排出口の開口面積を本体ハウジングの側面の面
積以内で設定することによつて屑排出口の開口面
積を大きくとることができ、この集屑ケース内に
溜められた切断屑を屑排出口から容易に排出する
ことができて、作業の能率を向上することができ
る効果を奏し、また、丸鋸刃の覆いと集屑ケース
とを本体ハウジングで兼ねているために、本体ハ
ウジングの側方へ集塵袋を突出形成していた従来
と比べて、集屑ケースは本体ハウジング内に位置
することになつて、集屑ケースが持ち運びや作業
中において他に当たつて集屑ケースが破損すると
いうことがなく、しかも、集屑ケースと本体ハウ
ジングとを兼ねていることで、従来のように本体
ハウジングより集塵袋が突出していないので、丸
鋸機の作業中においても集屑ケースが邪魔になら
ず、切断作業がスムーズできるという効果を奏す
るものである。
