法用のコンクリート管の継手に関するものであ
る。

ケツト7を介装し、両管端内周の複数個所、例え
ば等間隔に6ケ所に鋼製ボツクス8を埋設し、相
対するボツクス8,8間に、各ボツクス内に配設
した弾性材料例えばゴム質リング9を介してボル
ト10を挿通し、該ボルト10の端部をナツト1
1で締着して両ボツクス8,8を連結したもので
ある。すなわち、相対するボツクス8内には、そ
れぞれボツクス8の側壁とボルト10の頭部又は
ナツト11とによつてゴムリング9が挾持されて
いるから、常時は結合する方向へ圧力が加わり、
両コンクリート管1,5に対して互いに分離する
方向へ応力が作用したときは、ゴムリング9の弾
撥力が上記応力と反対の方向へ働くようになる。
これにより、隣接する両コンクリート管1,5は
常に緊結され、ガスケツト7の止水効果を失うこ
とはない。また、地盤沈下などにより、両コンク
リート管1,5の継手部分に曲げ応力が加わつた
場合でも、ゴムリング9の作用によつて上記曲げ
応力の一部は吸収されるとともに、その他は隣接
する他のコンクリート管の継手部分に伝達・分散
され、応力が一箇所に集中することがなくなる。
