本考案は鋼板コイルのチヤツク装置に関するも

プレス加工等の素材である渦巻円筒状の鋼板コ
イルは、回転自在に支持されて巻き戻されて加工
機に導入される。従来、鋼板コイルの回転自在な
支持装置としては第1図に示すように鋼板コイル
1の内径2の両側端に一対のテーパコーン3を嵌

ーン3に第3図及び第4図に示すチヤツク部材4

斜突出させた内径2のガイド舌片、9はテーパコ
ーン3の先端に固着されたチヤツク部材4の脱落

によつてチヤツク部材4の爪を第4図に示すよう
に径方向に押し拡げて拡大し、チヤツク部材4の
嵌合面5は鋼板コイル1の内径面に圧着してクラ
ンプ並びに挾持するものである。尚挾持した鋼板
コイル1の巻戻しに際しては、蛇行を防ぎ、装置
停止時の慣性によるコイルほぐれを防止するた
め、アンコイラーにブレーキがかかるようになつ

となく分散してクランプ挾持され、従来のような
鋼板の両端に圧延伸びによる変形を防止し、鋼板
コイルを無駄にスクラツプとすることがなくな
る。また、チヤツク部材の径方向の収縮並びに拡
大動作はテーパコーンの進退動作にて行うもの
で、特に専用のアクチユエータ等を不要とすると
共に、チヤツク部材は在来のテーパコーンに直ち
に装備することができ、従来のこの種チヤツク装
置を何ら設計変更することなく使用でき経済効果

いて、鋼板コイルの内径面と平行な嵌合面と、こ
の嵌合面と直交し鋼板コイルの側端面が当接する
フランジとを有し、円周上で複数に分割された円
弧状の爪を相互にスプリングにて引張して径方向
に収縮並びに拡大自在とした環状のチヤツク部材
の内径を前記テーパコーンのテーパ面に摺動自在
に嵌装したことを特徴とする鋼板コイルのチヤツ
