られており、スイツチ40は、正特性サーミスタ
への通電を操作しうるようにされている。従つ
て、薬剤の蒸散を行なう場合は、保護蓋41を基
体部3から外し、薬剤含浸マツトを放熱板上に載
置し、プラグ10を住居等のコンセントに差込ん
だ状態としてスイツチ40により正特性サーミス
タに通電を行なえば良い。これによりサーミスタ
が発熱し、その熱は放熱板を介してマツトに伝え
られ該マツトの温度上昇に伴つて薬剤有効成分の
蒸散が行なわれる。ここに使用される薬剤として
は、従来より使用されている害虫駆除又は忌避
剤、殺菌賦香剤等、種々のものを採用しうる。薬
剤の蒸散を行なわない場合には、スイツチ40に
よりサーミスタへの通電を遮断し、保護蓋41を
装着する。この状態においても本加熱蒸散器はコ
ンセント2に、ラジオ、ひげそり器、電気炊飯器
等の各種電気器具のプラグを差込んで接続器とし
て使用できる。したがつて長期にわたつて蒸散を
行なわない場合にも接続器として部屋の中等にお
いて使用されるため、押入等、埃のたまり易い場
所に収納されるのが回避され、再使用の際に埃付
着による支障や発火、爆発の危険性が低減され

り易い場所に収納されない結果、埃付着が生じ難
く、再使用の際に正特性サーミスタ特有の埃付着
による性能上の支障や発火、爆発の危険性が低減
される。また接続器として手の届き易い場所に置
かれるため、加熱部を使用しない期間中にも容易
にスイツチ操作により適宜正特性サーミスタに通
電できるので、長期間の無作働を避けうる点にお
いてもサーミスタの性能維持に有利である。更
に、加熱蒸散を行なつている間においても、加熱
蒸散器が住居等のコンセントを占領してしまうこ
とがなく、該蒸散器のコンセント部を利用して他
の電気器具を使用することができるという効果も
