5 is a band division crossover network circuit provided in the speaker cabinet 1 (hereinafter referred to as a "bass reflex duct"). Note that 6 indicates the openings at both ends of the bass reflex duct 4. This method is based on the resonance frequency f obtained depending on the volume of the frontage 6 of the bass reflex duct 4, the volume of the speaker cabinet 1, the quality of the air inside the bass reflex duct 4, etc. , is used to enhance and radiate bass, and f is usually ! +OHz
It is adjusted to a low M wave number of ~100t-1z. At frequencies above 10, the sound wave radiation from the bass reflex duct 4 is ignored, but the high-frequency cutoff layer wave number of the bass speaker unit 3 determined by the network circuit 285 is between the rear surface of the bass speaker unit 3 and the bass reflex duct 4. If the frequency is higher than the frequency where the distance between the openings 6 of 1 to 4 is one wavelength, or if this speaker system is a full-range bass reflex speaker B that does not have a band division circuit using a full-range speaker unit.
In the case of the stomach, the sound waves emitted from the rear surface of the bass speaker unit 3 reach the frontage 6 of the bass reflex duct 4 at exactly one wavelength (in phase), and are in opposite phase to the sound waves emitted from the front surface of the bass speaker unit 3. Therefore, at this frequency, a double positive and negative sound source exists on the speaker baffle surface, which is known to cause significant disturbances in the sound pressure frequency characteristics, directivity characteristics, etc. of the speaker device. This frequency is around 30α in the home high-fidelity reproduction speaker system made by Kotsu, where the distance between the liquid level of the bass speaker unit 3 and the bass reflex duct 4 is long, so the frequency is around 30α. The speed in the middle is 310 m/s, so it is approximately IK)-1z.

For this reason, conventionally, when deciding the assigned frequency band of the bass speaker unit 3 of the speaker device, there was a problem that there was a limit of 11 distances between the bass speaker unit 3 and the bass reflex duct 4.

Note that it is not necessary to use the speaker cabinet 1 as the constituent members of the air flow passage 8 and the air chamber 9, and separate molded products may be used. Furthermore, the connection of the airflow passage 8 to the bass reflex duct 4 is not limited to the vicinity of the gap portion 6, but may be connected to a longitudinally intermediate portion of the bass reflex duct 4 or the like.

By appropriately determining the resonance frequency of 7, the frontage area and length of the airflow passage 8, and the volume of the air chamber 9, harmful sound waves of approximately IKHz radiated from the opening 6 of the pass reflex duct 1-4 can be reduced by this acoustic resonator. 7 to absorb,
It can be easily cut off. Therefore, in this speaker device, harmful sound waves are emitted from the bass reflex duct 4 at a reduced rate, and disturbances in sound pressure frequency characteristics and directivity characteristics are reduced.
