Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling an electric fan by forming a thin resin film over the surface of a fan body base and mounting a switch assembly thereon so as to be opposed to the inner surface of the resin film. CONSTITUTION:An electric fan held by a support stand 3 through a support pipe 4 has a circuit substrate 10 mounted therein which constitutes an electronic switch base and further has a cover plate 7 covering the bottom of the fan body base 1. An extremely thin resin film 8 is sticked to the surface of the body base 1. Therefore, a switch actuating force larger than required is regulated by the resin film 8 and water or the like is prevented from entering into the inside of a switch actuator. Further, assembling the fan is facilitated by the simple structure and the efficiency of the fan is improved.

Conventional configurations and their problems Recently, microcomputers, etc. have been applied to electric fans, and electronicization is progressing, but with this electronicization, various problems arise when attaching the electronic circuit board to the base of the electric fan. There is. One of these is what is called a push-in countermeasure. Generally, electronic electric fans have a structure in which operation switches, status display lamps, etc. are placed on the front of the base, which is lower than other home appliances and closer to the floor. Therefore, operations are often performed with the fingers of the feet rather than the hands, and unexpected strong force may be applied to the operation switches and status display lamps. The electric fan's operating switch and status display lamp must be constructed to withstand such pushing force.

The next issue is flood prevention. As mentioned above, the electric fan's operation switch and status display lamp are located extremely close to the floor and horizontally to the floor, so there is a higher possibility of water intrusion than other home appliances. For example, it is common to spill juice by mistake. Naturally, electric fans must be constructed in a way that ensures operability and safety even in the event of such an accident. Therefore, in the past, to prevent push-in, the circuit board on which the operating switch and status display lamp were attached was reinforced with a metal plate, or springs were added to the operating switch, which caused more force than necessary to be applied to the operating switch. At present, this spring is used to provide a buffer. In addition, to prevent water from entering, we have installed grooves between the operation switches, status display lamps, and base to prevent water from entering, and especially for status display lamps, we have installed special grooves that are resistant to being pushed in and have good drainage. The status display lamp must be fixed in advance using a lamp holder and then attached to a circuit board, etc., which poses problems in terms of ease of assembly and cost.

In general, the base 1 and support 3 of an electric fan are constructed by integral molding of resin or by joining together parts formed separately, but in the case of separate parts, the joining points are made to be in close contact due to considerations such as appearance. ing. Since the support part 3 is required to have a certain height due to the nature of the electric fan, the overall structure is shaped like a chimney, and the support pipe 4 is inserted into the chimney. moves downward by -1 every time the height of the electric fan is adjusted, so the insertion part is a relatively loose fit and is not airtight. The top surface of the planar base 1 continuing from the base of the support 3 is sloped upward toward the support 3 in consideration of the operability, appearance, and strength of the switch display 2.

To explain the operation in the configuration described above, when the electric fan is operated, the electronic circuit of the circuit board 1o is energized, and the heat generating component 13 is energized.
generates heat, but due to the rotation of the blades 6, the vicinity of the upper end of the support column 3 is brought into a negative pressure state 49, and the air inside the support pipe 3 is forcibly drawn out through the gap at this fitting point of the support pipe 4. For electric fans that do not have a height adjustment function, such as tabletop fans,
There is no support pipe 4, and it is directly connected to the motor and blades of the electric fan, but even in this case, since the power wire is connected to the motor through the inside of the support 3, a gap naturally occurs, and the support 3 is connected to the outside. The effect of exhausting the air inside remains unchanged. Since the base 1 is tilted, the heat generating component 1
3, the hot air generated from the support pipe 3 is effectively discharged to the outside by the chimney effect of the support 3 and the gap between the support pipe 4 and the nearby negative pressure, and even if the heat generating component 13 is close to the base 1, The resin forming the base 1 will not be heated abnormally. By the way, new air must be introduced from outside to replace the hot air discharged outside in this way, but fortunately in the case of an electric fan, the cover 7 that covers the bottom of the base 1 is made of simple resin. There is a gap between the base 1 and the metal plate, and outside air is sucked through this gap.

Next, the switch is operated by pressing the button switch 11 with the fingertip 14 from outside the resin film 8, and the light from the light emitting diode 12 is also seen through the resin film 8. By printing the resin film 8 with this consideration in mind, it is possible to visually represent a switch or a lamp. By the way, the resin film 8 is required to be extremely flexible, so even if the film 7'' is thin, the switch feel will be impaired if it is completely fixed, so generally a double-sided adhesive tape is used as the adhesive. With this structure of the switch part, even if you press the button-on switch 11 directly, the tension of the resin film 8 increases after pushing it a certain distance, and even if you press it with an extremely strong force, the button-on switch 1 will not work.
No force is applied to 1 as in the conventional case. Moreover, since the resin film 8 is attached to the entire surface, even if water or the like is spilled from the outside, it will not enter the inside. In this way, the resin film 8, which is extremely effective in alleviating the pushing force and preventing water intrusion, which was a problem with electronic electric fans, can be prevented from being peeled off from the base 1 due to the hot air of the heat generating component 13.

Effects of the Invention As described above, in the electric fan of the present invention, the switch is mounted with the switch mounting part inclined, and the switch is operated through the thin resin film that covers the switch mounting part, so there are no unnecessary switches. The operating force is regulated by the resin film, so even if water is spilled onto the switch operation part, it will not get inside, and the heat of the electronic switch's heat-generating circuit components will rise along the slope, and will not reach the heat-generating part. The temperature is stagnant and -
The basic function and performance can be improved with a simple structure without reducing the adhesive strength of the adhesive that fixes the resin film.
