Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify required operation by providing an apparatus for running a vehicle at a constant speed in which a control shaft connected to a part of an acceleration link mechanism is locked by a locking mechanism for maintaining a constant speed. CONSTITUTION:A pedal arm 2 having an accelerator pedal 1 at its lower end is rotatably supported by an autobody by means of a pin 4 serving as a shaft, through a bracket 3. The arm 2 is extended upwards and a control shaft 7 is connected mutually rotatably to the upper end of the arm by a pin 8. A locking mechanism 11 is privided on the round bar section between the rack tooth 9 and the pin 8 for locking the position of the control shaft 7. An electric motor 23 having a gear 22 engaged with the rack tooth 9 is fixed on the autobody, and an electro-magnetic clutch 24 is mounted in the motor 23. When the lever of a steerig handle is operated, the electromagnetic valve 18 is opened and a pusher 13 is shifted by the actuating force of a hydraulic cylinder 14 to fix the control shaft 7, whereby the accelerator pedal is retained in position and a constant speed traveling can be continued.

1項記載の定速走行装置。 ■ステアリングコラム部に設けたレバーのノブの回動に
より電動機を王・逆回忙させるスイッチが設けられた特
許請求の範囲第4項記載の車両の・定速走行装置。 (θブレーキベグルまたはクラッチベグルの踏み込みに
