近年のファクシミリ装置においては、原稿の送信に先立
って送信機の設置部署、例えば会社名や部門名等からな
る発信元情報を該送信機内のメモリに記憶させておき、
送信の際に上記発信元情報を画情報と共に送信すること
により、これを受信した受信紙上に発信元表示を行うよ

ドレス設定装置(6)は該信号を所定のアドレス信号に
変換して発信元情報メモリ(5)から発信元情報を読出
す。読出された文字コードとしての発信元情報はライン
カウンタ(8)およびフォントアドレス設定装置(10
)によって上記文字コードに対応する文字の各ライン毎
のアドレス信号【こ変換され、該アドレス信号によりフ
ォントメモリ(9)を設定スる。フォントメモリ(9)
から読出された文字はプリンタ(7)において前記印字
ヘッド(3)により本ファクシミリ装置の受信紙(1)
上に記録され、す(5)から抽出した発信元情報を、従
来は送信の際に画情報に付して用いるのみであったのに
比し、人カキ−(4)からの所定の入力操作によって上
記ファクシミリ装置に設けられた受信紙上に表示できる
様にしたものである。従って送信機側において上記発信
元情報の内容にミスがないかを確認でき、安心して原稿
