Abstract

PURPOSE:To regulate characteristics of an inductor after being molded, by drawing one-ends of metal terminal plates out of a resin mold and by cutting away a portion of a collar projection of an hour-glass-shaped high-frequency magnetic core as well as the resin mold. CONSTITUTION:A collar of an hour-glass-shaped high-frequency magnetic core 7 around which a coil 8 is wound, are fastened to locking portions 10 provided on the tips of the metal terminal plates 9. After the coil 8 is electrically connected to portions of the metal terminal plates 9 and the whole is covered by a resin mold 1, outwardly drawing portions 2 of the metal terminal plates 9 are bended along the side faces of the resin mold 1 respectively.
