Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent toner from scattering by providing a door which has opening/closing mechanisms inside a film member and opening the door only when the toner cartridge is mounted on a toner cartridge support body. CONSTITUTION:The opening part of the toner cartridge 11 is provided with the film member 12 which contains toner 16 by fusion or adhesion, and the door 13 having the opening/closing mechanisms 12a and 21b which are open only when the cartridge 11 is mounted on the support body 21 is provided inside the film member 12. This film member 12, therefore, prevents the influence of environmental changes in the transportation of the toner cartridge 11 from being exerted upon toner 16 and when the toner cartridge 11 is loaded, the film member 12 is peeled off and then the cartridge 11 is mounted on a fitting part, so that the toner 16 is supplied without being scattered. Further, when the toner cartridge 11 is detached, the toner cartridge 11 can be taken out after the door 13 is closed by the opening/closing mechanisms 21a and 21b which are arranged at the door 13 and toner cartridge fitting part. Consequently, the toner is prevented from being scattered.
